Great value!
For less than the price of a new Chromebook, you can have yourself a really decent laptop. For 5 years, I was a Director of IT & Marketing (solely responsible for the devices of a few hundred employees. That said, I’ve about seen it all, when it comes to computers. Most modern laptops and even desktops that you see on the shelves of retailers, are severely overpriced TRASH. I haven’t thoroughly tested this particular laptop and I suspect that there are some cheapo parts (SSD etc) but for the price, there’s not a whole lot of competition. The laptop I received looks practically new (aside from a few dust bunnies and key crumbs). The charger is scratched to hell but it works and isn’t held together by tape (I’ve definitely seen that with a few refurbs). Battery seems to hold a decent charge. It does NOT have a Webcam (I personally don’t want one but I missed that in the description so I figured it’s noteworthy). It came well packaged! (Big selling point on cheap refurbs) Can’t think of anything else but if I do, I’ll add it to an edit!

Great Value for the Money!
Out of the box, the laptop seems 100% clean and new, with only minor wear on some of the stickers on the bottom. No scratches whatsoever on the body, screen or power adaptor.Out of the box the laptop is fast and snappy. It came with Win 10 pro presintalled, but I upgraded it to Win 11.The screen is ok, but a little too dim for my taste. It could definitely use a few more notches up on the brightness settings. The touchscreen works ok, but it can feel a little slugish at times.It has a medium sized touchpad which works fine and the buttons are still nice and clicky.One huge CON for me is that it DOES NOT have a backlit keyboard.Audio quality is also a minor Con, since it’s pretty weak (something expected at this price range however).The chiclet style keyboard feels very nice, responsive and crisp. No complaits there whatsoever.I bought this keyword mainly as a backup work device.The nature of my work has me openning 20+ Google Chrome tabs at a time. Due to this reason, I upgraded the ram to 32gb of DDR4 3200. However, the bottle neck I now have is with the (weaker than expected) Core i5-8350U processor. It will constatly jump to 100% under Chrome multitasking.However, if you need a laptop for entertainment (videos, light gaming) or work (as long as it’s not Chrome extensive applications) you’ll be more than happy with the amount of value you get for your buck here.

Highly Recommend – Excellent Quality and Speed
I have been a customer of Dell for over fifteen years, yet this is the first refurbished Dell that I’ve purchased, and it has exceeded my expectations. This Dell performs better than the brand new models I’ve purchased in the past. I definitely took my time in making this choice, and, as a teacher, I needed my choice in computers to meet certain specifications. Dell is my preferred choice, yet I was cautious as I wasn’t sure if a refurbished model would be as high quality. Honestly, I expected some glitches, but have found none. The processor is fast. I also have high speed Internet, but if a processor isn’t fast, one can tell. I am able to seamlessly perform all tasks with ease. I was able to upgrade to Windows 11 for free, as well. The speakers and volume are excellent, as is the webcam and graphics, overall. If one is needing to conduct video meetings or lessons, this is your laptop. If you are a gamer, this is your laptop. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the charging cable was over 30 feet in length and the battery easily charged and maintains a charge easily. I am pleased not only with Dell, but with Amazon Renewed! I do recommend purchasing a protection plan. I opted foran Assurance Insurance plan and while I considered the two or four year plan, the cap amount insurance would cover annually for a repair is $200. I chose the $17 per monthplan that covers all Amazon purchased electronic products and will cover up to $2,000 annually. Good laptop
This laptop gets the job done. It’s very fast for the price and everything else checks out. I can’t think of any real negatives to mention. Only complain is I’m a little disappointed that I had to pay more for mine than the current listing price. Apparently it already dropped in price from $200.14 to $187.89. Guess I should have waited a little longer before buying.

Update 12/08/24this restart thing became a loop.somehow the autoupdate couldn’t finish the install and the bios kept asking, last working version, total reset blablabla…I didn’t surf once. To sum up: They sold a not-working device.Update 10/28/24some assitent from Dell wanted to make some updates, asked for restart and since then it is just horrible.I wasted my money for one nightmare.Initial experience:So I ordered this to check emails and surf for information.I boot it up and I check the battery: at 50% – will last 1 hour.So I do the entire energy spiel: 6 hours.In the description it said somewhere around 10 hours. Well could have been my mistake.Now every 2 minutes the vent turns on. This is a SSD. Everything on energy safer.Why is the vent turning on? How can there be any heat?Even after it went to sleepthe vent is running – while charging (plus unannounced updates are running in the background, without any notification that it does that).(BMS must be from 1998 SE. )Sitenote: I used to be a long long windows user. What happened to windows?I ordered 11 Pro and what did I get? Probiotic for 11 year old.

I’m very impressed so far with this refurb laptop – it looks and feels brand new with no marks or scratches whatsoever, and seems to easily handle multiple desktop applications and old school games with no slowdowns or excessive noise/heat. The screen resolution also seems great to me, though I’m sure of course that it doesn’t measure up to a new Macbook or similar. I think that this is a great bargain if you are looking for a reliable budget laptop, outside of needing to play newer games or work with intensive video/photo editing applications etc. Highly recommended!

Es un buen equipo para ofimática y tareas básicas escolares. Es rápida y funciona muy bien, además la baterÃa le dura mucho como si estuviese nueva y trae cargador original. Lo he usado para programar y realmente creà que se iba a poner lenta pero me sorprendió a pesar que su procesador es una i5 de 8th generación. El producto al ser reacondicionado vino con pequeños detalles y rayones en la carcasa de la laptop pero no impide su funcionamiento. Realmente lo recomiendo por si no tienes el presupuesto para comprar un producto nuevo. Un punto a tener en cuenta es que está versión no cuenta con cámara de video.

Las laptop Dell las venden con muchas variantes para selección del cliente, por eso en Amazon Renewed difÃcilmente ofrecen laptop idénticas aunque parezcan iguales. Yo tuve mucha suerte porque resultó totalmente a mi gusto

I was really worried about getting a decent refurbished laptop. The laptop I bought is fantastic, it’s like brand new. The battery life is like a new laptop. The company were kind enough to put an extra 16gb ram on for me. Jenny was so helpful when I contacted the seller to find out more about the laptop and to arrange the extra ram.
