Great AC
I turned my back porch into an office (I work from home) and did not want to mess with the home AC, so looked into Mini Split. This one is awesome. 9,000 BTU is an overkill for my space but the less BTU was more expensive. I love that can work with an app. I turn it on from my room (in bed, lol), by the time I get ready and go into the office is super cold. I love it. I like the fact that the temperature stays consistent all through out the day. Is supper silent, inside and outside unit as well. While standing next to it outside, you cannot hear it, super silent. The remote works fine as well.

Great value-straight forward install
Bought this on sale for $450 and itâs really great. It took 7 hours to install but it was worth it. DIY install with a vacuum pump and manifold in accordance with the included instructions worked fine. Lots of prep work and accessories needed but Iâm probably $550 all in. I canât imagine a better deal. Iâll update in a few months but itâs keeping my accessory dwelling very warm in 15deg weather. Line set is short. It should be 25â but itâs only 16.4â so be prepared.

Great heatpump. Of the 5 heatpumps in my main house these have been the most impressive.
The low power consumption and great performance have really impressed me with these units. Its all I will buy now. Highly recommend. Easy installation too.

Works Great
Came with an extra packet of plasticene and an extra drain hose. Also came with a plastic tube for the hole made through the wall. The unit works great. I plugged it into the wall with a 15 amp breaker. Please note not to use a GFCI outlet. This also means any GFCI outlet in tandem to the breaker as that will also trip the gfci further down the wall. This will happen after 5 minutes of it turning on as that’s when the compresser kicks in. I recommend 14 gauge wiring instead of the common 16 gauge. Remember to hook the communication wires first before doing anything else as you will need to access to the front panel in order to do so. To install this, you will need a vacuum pump, phillips head screwdriver, hex wrench, and hole saw bit. Everything else you need is included.

Seem like a good quality unit.
The unit seem to look nice and function as expected. It is very quiet which is what I was looking for. Installation was easy to follow. It didn’t come with the electric cord going to the main disconnect box, so you’ll have to provide your own. The main reason I gave it a 3 star is because it came damaged in the lower corner. The box was torn but I kept it because I didn’t see the coils damage. Better packaging and better shipping handling on the freight company could have avoided this.

Works but has rattle in the outside unit and a water leak in the inside unit
This mini-split does work quite well in an outside shed. But, the outside unit sometimes rattles – it occurs whenever the outside unit kicks on and it lasts about 30 seconds – it is not a terrible amount of noise but it is an annoyance. The bigger issue has been that the internal unit leaks a little bit of water from the backside of the inside unit – it is not that the water pan is not working or that the inside unit is not level in all directions or that the drain hose is clogged – it is that the fan in the inside unit picks up water from the evaporator fins and lets it out the backside of the inside unit – my solution for this was to take a large garbage bag and make funnel out of it and let it drain outside. So, I have a working unit (albeit not ideal). I did not want to go thru the trouble of trying to uninstall and returning it as the policy seems to be that they will only give you a full refund for unopened units. I tried to contact the seller – but they did not respond. I do not recommend this ACONEE brand.
