Fit Sony Product!
We love our electronics, we love old Electronics, we hate having to find that one special power supply because some company picked some esoteric power adapter and fitted it with a proprietary adapter (Sony??) that you can’t find anywhere. I buy a lot of old electronics at auctions and estate sales, it’s nice to have an assortment of power connectors handy to connect gear to see if it works. This kit is a godsend. It’s awesome, I bought a Sony BRC-300 at an auction and I could not find the power supply, I bought this kit and it fired right up because one if the many connectors it comes with worked. I’m a total nerd for old electronics, and if you’re a nerd for that stuff you need this on your workbench. Get it, don’t think about it. Even if you just need the assortment of connectors and have your own bench power supply, you can connect the wires to your PSU with a custom cable and you’re good. Great work by the CM (Chinese Manufacturer) that came up with this product.

Cheap to buy, but short to last
I used this power supply to charge a 4S, 14.8V lithium battery pack made of 18650 cells (charging cut-off voltage 16.8V defined by the BMS of that battery pack).The charging current was 2.7 A, which is higher than the 2A rating in the product description of this power supply. In the description, they state that there is overcurrent protection. But this is obviously not the case. The power supply became very hot during charging with 2.7A current output and stopped working after 1 hour.Now it is broken. I will not buy another one.

Serves the purpose I wanted for.
I purchased this dc transformer to use with my ryobi/dewalt 18v tools. Since neither company had built an adopter for using a plug in power source. Converted the casing of each tool, to allow use of the 18v transformer. Most of my tools are the ryobi blue 18volt that can use either lithium or ni-cad batteries.
