Small, but VERY strong
This is the best phone mount that I’ve tried, and I’ve tried a bunch of ’em. The magnet is very strong, and my Note 10+ doesn’t move at all.I like that it collapses into a really compact size when it’s not needed, but it is so unobtrusive that I leave it as-is. The adhesive on both the base and the plate to place onto your phone is extremely strong (tip: clean the surface with alcohol, then after placing, press for 30 seconds and then leave it alone overnight.) If properly done, neither one will move. At all.Also, the arm tension can be tightened with the opposing screws at each side.I included a couple of pictures to hopefully illustrate how small it is, and to show the screws that can be adjusted. Note the screw holes left over from a lesser phone mount that broke before the screws could even pull through the plastic dash.

No quality, no customer service
I hope both the manufacturer and all potential buyers read this. I’ve been using Carmount for years. I’ve bought a couple for myself and as gifts. I first was buying the minimal mount. I LOVED it. It had a nice design for when my phone wasn’t on the mount, the adhesive was hulk strong and made it through Texas heat, without failing me. It was this clear, gooey adhesive. Also didn’t ruin my dashboard. I decided I wanted to get this mount because it expanded and I wanted a better angle from my seat. I was pumped… until it arrived. The mount itself.. amazing! So cool, has a lot of positioning. But the adhesive. You’d be lucky if it would hold a leaf- no, I’m not being dramatic I’m being real. It was this weak black 3M sticker, that had ZEROOOOOO grip. It wouldn’t even stick to the dashboard with its own weight, yes I did prep the surface before attempting to place. So I wrote a letter directly to carmount asking about the quality and what they suggest. They asked me for my purchase number so they could look into it. I sent my Amazon order number. I got a automatic response telling me to file a request with Amazon about my shipment details and issues. I know I bought through Amazon, but they didn’t make this item. So now I have no mount because I took mine off to put the new one on and the new one doesn’t work. So I’ll be returning and I hope everyone reads this and doesn’t spend their hard earned money that the company is cutting cost by cutting quality, which means you’ll be spending more. Look elsewhere. And for the company. Shame on you for brushing a customer off who was very loyal to your brand and was just trying to get a solution to the issue you created, because I wanted to keep your product.Update: two additional customer service exchanges later, manufacturer told me they can’t help me with direction about quality of adhesive, and to contact Amazon so they can resolve (despite the fact I’ve told them I’m not trying to get a return through them for something I bought on Amazon. I’m trying to get help about their product).

Its expensive but it seems well put together, small, and sturdy.

Packaged perfectly, easy mounted to dash, holds phone without shaking. Great product, highly recommend

I have the other version of this which is the best phone mount i have ever had, i ordered this version but unfortunately my Peugeot 2008 does not actually have space this can stick and not block instruments or vents. So I had to return it but i would certainly recommend it as a phone mount
