Rechargeable not batteries
These plug into a type c charger, which is amazing because you donât have to change the batteries in them. The screen is massive giving more drawing room which is great for 4 year olds. The pen works great on it and my twins love them. They are easy to use, and functional for the purpose. We have had the battery ones and everytime weâve had to change the batteries they stopped working. Definitely worth the money for rechargeable.

Smooth Writing
I ordered the 16″ one for me and 4 of the 13″ ones for gifts for grandchildren for Christmas. I specifically ordered this brand because they are rechargeable. I can see the slot on the tablet where a recharging cord can be plugged in, but have only had the tablet for a few days, so have not had experience yet with recharging.I like to write, so my only experience with the tablet is with writing. There is a nice slot at the bottom where the “pen” is stored, and it easily pops out by pressing from the underside. Writing on the tablet is very smooth, and there is no “skipping” or missed areas on the screen. The text appears in various colors as you write across the screen.There are no real “instructions” that t come with the tablet. An icon near the bottom that looks like an on-off button erases what is on the screen. On the backside is a lock-unlock button. I assume that locks the screen so that what is on the screen is not erased, and unlocks it so that it can be erased. I haven’t experimented with that yet.So far, I am very pleased with the quality of this product.

This is my first use of one of these, so wasn’t sure what to expect. I’m taking away one star for the lack of useful instructions, the dim colors, and the very flimsy thin plastic. I wish the instructions mentioned how long to charge, if it’s safe to leave it plugged in, and if there is a way to tell how much charge is in the battery. The instructions basically say not to drop it or destroy it. nothing else of value. Evidently there is no way to turn it off off. How long will the picture remain? Does the battery drain more with a picture on it? No light when it is charging.I noticed one reviewer said the picture doesn’t erase. This is probably because the tiny lock button is on.

I have 2 kids so perfect for them and they use them everyday. The Pens are tethered so the kids donât lose them. Itâs tethered by an elastic so my son slinged it by pulling it too far and the part of the pen with the loop that holds the elastic string broke on the first day. It does have a compartment that holds the pen when not in use. The screen is this but after a month of tons of use, still in original condition. We are still on the original battery as well. It has a button to clear the screen. There is a switch on the back to keep the drawing from not being deleted if you want to keep your drawing from being erased, and then switched off to clear. A great product for price.
