I really like this unit. It looks nice and works very well in my car. The only thing I don’t like is that is doesn’t swivel sideways. So far it is sticking to my front dashboard, even though it gets very hot in the car.

I like how you can retrack it when not being used. Very sturdy in any position except when extended fully and exposed to direct sunlight and heat. The adhesive tape tends to loose grip and fall off. The solution is not to fully extend the arm.

Adhesive could be better
The magnet is incredibly strong, I even tested it off roading in my jeep and it just hung on tenaciously. However the adhesive on the car dash side tends to soften in the hot sun and I have had them fall off that way, best to put on the flattest surface you can and fold up when not in use. The adhesive for your phone is great though, I stuck the plate on and it’s doing a great job staying there.

Adhesive would not stick to mount
For starters, the directions on the box did not match the pieces inside the box.One box contained a mount, 2 magnets to stick to your phone (I guess one was a backup), and a circle adhesive that was sticky on both sides.I did not want to stick the magnet to my phone, but I was successful at placing it between the phone and the case.I removed the protective film from the circle adhesive and attempted to stick it to the base of the mount, but it would not adhere. The base of the mount was incredibly smooth. I decided to use the other side of the adhesive. It did seem to stick a little better.I then stuck the mount to my dash. The adhesive had no trouble adhering to my dash, and the phone connected well to the mount (through the magnet), but the mount continued to fall away from the adhesive.I requested a refund.

These work well as advertised. I wish they had options for one that was a bit taller when extended. This brand uses an all metal construction at the hinge that is very durable. Other more popular brands are plastic and do not last at all. These hold my very large Samsung S23 Ultra with a very heavy case without any trouble. Those having trouble with the magnet need to be sure they are using the metal place that attaches to your phone or case. I put the metal plate on the inside of my very thick phone case and it is still very strong.

Looks good and supports my phones. Easy to install, multi-angled and easy to use. I found that in extremely hot weather the adhesive strips will lift with the weight. I just pressed it back down for a few seconds and it seemed to stay as the car got cooler.

works well as long as you dont have a case on your phone and or dont mind sticking the metal it comes with on the outside of a case. I tried to but it on the inside of case but the magnet isnt strong enough to keep phone in place and fell off all the time. With metal outside the case it holds well but now there is a piece of metal on the outside of my case. I also had to use Gorilla 2 sided tape as the adhesive it came with didnt hold up very long. But now it works good.
