Works well but a bit slower than expected
I ordered this cell phone charger for my son who has an iPhone XR. He had never used a magnetic or wireless charger before, so he was more than a little curious. First off, the design of this one is nice and sleek. It is appealing to any age, with it’s modern look, including a mirror for the background, where your phone goes on magnetically. I did have to purchase separately a magnet ring to go on the back of his phone, since the XR is not already magnetized. So, keep that in mind, you may need one as well. This charger also has a charging spot for your apple watch and airpods. So it’s a 3 in 1 charger. My son said he liked it mostly, but that it seems to take much longer for his phone to charge on it, than it does with his regular wired chargers. That was a surprise to me, considering I had expected it to be a faster option than his wired chargers are.One thing I noticed as well, when I tested it by charging my phone on it, is that it made my phone really hot. I have a google pixel 8. It is possible that this issue is a problem with my phone, and not with this charger. I’ve never had this issue before, but even still, pixels are notorious for overheating. Therefore, I can’t say for sure.Overall, based on performance, design and appearance, and the price of this charger, I would probably not recommend this particular product. I think there are better options that perform just as well, if not better, than this one, at a lower price.My son uses this charger approximately half of the time that he is charging his phone. The other half, he uses his regular chargers. He has commented that he likes it, because it’s easy to just stick it on there real quick at night. During the day, and if he needs a faster charge, he uses his basic wired ones.

Could be better
I used this for about a month and opted to look for something better. It does not charge your AirPods, at least my model did not. The phone charger will activate the touch light and the light will randomly start blinking and won’t turn off unless unplugged. Only part I really enjoyed is the Apple Watch charger.

Good Design and Strong Magnet
While I believe the mirror part will be useful to just a few people, it is still a great charging station for traveling as it folds completely flat and takes very little space. The design is also great because all your devices stay right at the front instead of all over the place as in some other travel stations. For instance, I have one that folds well, but when in use, you can’t see my Airpod. That has led me to leave it behind a few times.Not everything is all that nice thought. First, you need a good charger with at least 18W to power it, and if you’re using a case that doesn’t support Magsafe, you will need to lay it flat as there is nothing to hold your phone. Otherwise, the magnet is very strong and it holds your phone no matter the position of the stand. The truth is that every iPhone cases should support Magsafe. Hopefully, most case makers will realize that going forward. As for the missing charger, that is a common thing nowadays. Fortunately, you can use the one that came with your phone if you don’t already own a more powerful one.
