LOVE This Phone! Lightweight and still rugged. Thinner than a PlayStation case!
This is one of my favorite smartphones I have ever owned. It’s super lightweight, thinner than a PlayStation game case, but you can still drop it on the ground without worrying if it will break. Other smartphones you would have to put a clunky rugged protective case over them to make them drop-proof. But this one is drop-proof without any additional bulky case. It’s also cool that it’s waterproof and dustproof. It functions smooth and doesn’t lag. Great for general stuff like email, browsing the internet, and watching videos. Also works great for gaming. I can play Diablo Immortal and Shadowgun Legends on it just fine with no lagging. And you can’t beat the price. Usually rugged phones are pretty expensive, so it’s great to find one like the H6 at the $200 mark.

Only works with limited T-Mobile frequencies.
I picked up this phone as a replacement for a Samsung X-Cover Pro. It is light, thin, and fast but only connects on T-Mobile’s lowest and least reliable LTE band frequencies. 90% of the time it connects to their “Edge” band. I contacted AGM tech support but never received any response. T-Mobile confirmed that it is basically useless on their network and that I should trade it in on something more compatible.

Nice rugged phone, good value
I’ve been using a AGM H6 for a month now. Its a good phone. Love the small size. I had a series of Cat S4x phones before, which I liked, but the Cat S42 is old and Cat is not keeping up with Android releases. The AGM is current. Seems rugged, its survived several crashes on my dirt bike. The finger print detection is flakey, sometimes it works, other times not. I’m not 100% confident on the GPS/GNSS system accuracy. I was driving down the PA Turnpike at 70 MPH and it displayed me 1/4 mile to the south going on country roads. Setup was quick and painless.

Charging stopped, software glitchy/poor camera
After owning the phone for less than 6 months the charging port got so wiggly it is not possible to charge and does not have wireless charging. For 1-2 weeks it was picky about how I positioned the charging cable, then it just stopped. The camera can not handle light and takes washed out photos that look like they are from 15 years ago. Also slow which lead to blurry photos for work. The gps was pretty bad. My previous and new phone can locate me in the woods without cell signal to about 50 ft. This phone had no location ability outside cell service and in cities would often be off by a block. The operating system would also seize about once a day, get stuck for 10-20 seconds, flash then come back. Probably other odd stuff I’m forgetting. Battery life was good for 2 days plus but otherwise worst phone I’ve ever owned. Durable, sort of but fails pretty much every other category.

The phone seemed quite nice, until I used the GPS. It was the most inaccurate GPS I’ve ever seen. It couldn’t place me within a kilometer of my actual location, and attempting to drive with it for navigating it took over a minute to update when you moved. For a rugged outdoorsperson phone, you’d end up lost in the woods and never find your way out with that GPS.

This is a great looking phone, the performance is just as good as my more well known branded smart phone. The battery is good, for a new phone though I feel it could be a bit better but my current phone is well known for its battery performance so maybe I’ve been spoilt a little. For a more budget friendly phone I would say this is a good fit especially for someone clumsy or who does a lot of outdoor activites as it does seem to be a well made and robust phone.

First time I dropped it, after owning it for 3 days, the screen cracked. 2.5 months later the charger piece in the phone is frayed and won’t charge anymore.

Bought this to upgrade from my motto defy as it’s advertised as durable with the 5000mh battery same as my old defy however real world use is I only get one day use it if this phone but with my defy I could get two days without charging. Also it’s a little slow to react to fingerprint unlock over all quite disappointed*Update* dropped phone from a table landed glass side down and shattered never seen so many shards of glass come out of a screen before (and I have broken many screens) seems quite dangerous but I did receive an almost full refund (minus vat) so there is that…..

This is a nice, slim, rugged phone. The Android operating system takes a little bit of getting used to if you’re an IOS user and persona;;y I’m finding it to be slightly slow, I think that may be down to the 8gb ram?The 256GB rom is a nice feature though, plenty of room for all of the pictures and video you’ll takeThe screen is good quality although I personally find it slightly dull. The 50mp camera is fairly good, but isn’t going to blow your socks off. The image quality is fine, but is a little on the cool side. It does have many pro settings though and a nice macro feature. The speakers are pretty naff, so you’ll be wanting to use headphones if listening to anything or playing videos etc.The phone is simple to set up and the whole set up process can be completed in a few minutes. All of the Google apps needed updating (as expected) and 14 apps updated in less than a minute, so the wifi on it is certainly quick enough.Threw it in the air, dropped it on the floor, submerged it in water and it’s all still working perfectly well so I’m looking forward to taking it on an outdoors holiday in a few months, safe in the knowledge it’s likely to survive unscathed. The phone looks nice, and it has a lot of the modern features you’d want such as fingerprint scan, facial recognition etc.It also works as a phone!! :DGood stuff
