Another diesel heater success
I use this on my diesel heater. It is perfect for the application and a great value for the price.It is absolutely silent without a fan yet runs very cool. I would buy another if this one fails down the road.

Most powerful dc power supply with no fan
Most powerful dc power supply with no fan- This is the most powerful AC to DC power supply I can find with out a cooling fan. Convection Cooling only. 20A to 12vdc with a screw POT to adjust the DC out from a high around 14vdc so if you want to charge a 12 Battery you can do this. This is a good stiff DC power supply. Have not scoped it to see if there is any ripple or if there is how much ripple there is. I have not had the need to test this as it is powering my 12V DC motors well with no issues. My DC motors have a running current of around 5 amps. No caps for starting and it does well.

Used this to power my diesel parking heater build that heats my workout room in the garage during the winter. Price was good, it was easy to wire up (used a Youtube video as my guide like you probably do) and had provided reliable power for the last few months. Documentation could be better, but is a reasonable DIY item.

En el modelo 12v 20A, nada mas se regula de 10.3v a 13v.Viendolo por detro, se ve que si viene bien armado, no se ve de mala calidad, no es nada mas un transforamdor y 2 capacitores. Trae varios filtros y capacitores de buena calidad.Lo que si me da algo de temor es que este abierta, se te cae algun liquido dentro y adios, no me ha pasado pero es una posibilidad, pero es cuestion de hacer una caja y queda.Recomiendo ponerle un interruptor, ya que saca sus chispazos a la hora de conectarlo (en la clavija).

Ich habe mir das Netzteil für eine eigens gebaute Musikanlage gekauft, um den Verstärker entsprechend mit dem Passenden Strom zu versorgen. Das Teil hat genau gepasst. Der Anschluss des Stromkabels erfordert viel Feinmotorik und Geduld. Ãber die Funktionalität des ganzen kann ich nicht klagen.

Unit arrived early and in good condition, well packaged. Feels like a solid unit, terminals well marked, very easy to set up.I took away 1 star under ease of use because the 110/220 selector switch is sealed inside the unit. There are no setup instructions or paperwork of any kind, only a very small yellow sticker to warn you that you need to set the proper voltage for your area. It would be very easy to miss if you didn’t know to look for it. If you look very carefully you can see the switch through the vent holes and with a jewelers screwdriver or o-ring pick you can reach through the vent holes and move it without taking the case apart.I’m using it to power an 8kw diesel heater and after several hours you can put your hand on top of the power supply and it’s barely warm to the touch, so it’s certainly not being overworked. Had my voltmeter hooked up the first time I powered it up just to check it out. Voltage output was solid and steady during the heaters whole start up cycle (which draws quite a few amps and changes amperage draw quickly several times as the glow-plug cycles and the fan ramps up to speed)The voltage fine-tune screw is sensative but smooth and I’ve got it set at 12.5 volts for this application.Very happy so far, I’ll update if anything changes.
