Really Great for the Price
I got these when they first came out and I’ve had them for about a month now. These are the first wireless earbuds I’ve ever purchased so I didn’t know what to expect but so far I’m pleasantly surprised, especially considering how inexpensive they are.I think the sound is great. I’m not an audiophile by any stretch but I can definitely tell that these have much better sound quality than my wired earbuds. My only complaint from a sound standpoint is occasionally there will be interference or it will cut out. I assume this is just par for the course for something that’s wireless / bluetooth, but it can be annoying and there have been a couple of times I needed to reconnect them to clear up an audio problem. It doesn’t happen enough for it to be a deal breaker though, and it could just be my phone as it never happens with computer audio. As far as Alexa integration, these work great. I barely have to say “Alexa” above a whisper for the earbuds to activate, which is great when I’m in public and don’t want to appear like I’m talking to myself. It also helps if I don’t want to trigger one of my nearby Alexa devices, although even if I do, the proximity awareness of echo devices means that if I have my earbuds in, my other echo’s won’t pick up the command, which is great. From a comfort standpoint, I think my opinion is going to be subjective, after all, everyone’s ears are different. I can keep these earbuds in for up to two hours before I need a break. I don’t like to keep the earbuds in when I’m not using them so I keep the case in my pocket and take the earbuds out when I’m not using them. That keep my ears from getting tired.I think the battery life is great. Again, I usually only keep them in my ears for around 2 hours, but there have been a couple of times that I’ve keep them in for 4 to 5 hours and they’ve almost run completely out of power. In those cases, 15 to 20 minutes in the case and they are good as new.In addition to all this, I really like the features of these earbuds. They were very easy to setup with the Alexa app. They seamlessly connect to my phone and laptop at the same time and I can listen to audio from either device at any time without having to do any type of manual switching. I can be listening to audio on my laptop and if my phone rings, it will pause whatever is playing on my laptop to give me an opportunity to answer the phone. The tapping gestures are programable and straightforward, and I have the ability to summon both Alexa and Google’s Assistant at any time either by voice or by a long-press.All in all, these are great. I’d say 4.5 stars instead of five, but since I can’t do half stars, I feel like these are so good that it’s better to round up than down. You honestly can’t beat these for the price.

Love these things
These are an amazing earbud when I’ve been searching for a good set.Pros:Small case,USB-C,works with Alexa (which you can still change the activation word from Alexa to Echo)Pauses videos when you pull them out of your ear (major bonus points here)Great sound and volumeNo rubber condom tip wedged in my ear canalEarbud stays in place because of silicone jacketMagnets make the ease to put back in and only work one way (can’t confuse L VS R)Cons:First time connection has to go through Amazon app (small annoyance, larger if I didn’t have an Amazon account),Only way to see battery levels is in the Amazon app,Bit delayed in audible activation noise VS the earbuds connecting (when taking out of case)Dropped case launches buds out of the caseEnd result: great earbuds, I like how the silicone holding them in the ear is in the larger part of the ear instead of down the canal, it allows me to hear what’s around me instead of completely blocking it out to where I can only hear my breathing, and there is no suction when pulling them out of my ear.

I really like these Echo Ear Buds, but I’m having some problems
I have purchased a number of inexpensive ear buds over many years. I’m also an “Amazon” person with Echo devices in several places in my home, at my office, and I’m a long-time Prime Member. I saw a good price on these Echo Ear Buds, so I thought I would try them.SOUND: The sound quality is pretty good — I mainly use my ear buds to listen to audiobooks and for phone calls while away from home. I only listen to music and podcasts occasionally. I also use the Buds for phone calls. I find the sound quality is better than my previous (cheap) ear buds.CONTROLS: the Touch Control is great and easy to use. The Echo Ear Buds only need a single tap to pause or re-start whatever I am listening to, and I find it much easier than my old ear buds. (This is a big thing for me.) However, there is no volume control — which is fine with me as I usually keep at a steady volume. There are functions controlled by double-tap, triple-tap and long tap, but I really don’t use those. My previous earbuds required a double-tap to pause or resume the book or song, and it was hard to get that double-tap done because the sensor was picky — I often had to try a bunch of times. A single tap would increase (right) or decrease (left) the volume.FIT: This is a HUGE problem for me. I struggle to keep the Echo Ear Buds in my ears. They are both loose, but the Right one, in particular, often falls out, and I have almost lost it a few times in the three weeks I have been using them. It falls out while my hands are occupied, so I can’t immediately catch it to put it back in. One nice feature — when one Ear Bud falls out, the audio pauses while the Ear Buds are separated. I sometimes have to tap the right one to resume when I get it back in. Also, the Alexa App has a FIND feature, but I haven’t found it to be all that useful. Yesterday, when I temporarily lost the Right Bud for a ew hours, the function to make loud sounds was greyed out so it wouldn’t work (but I later found the missing bud.)If I can figure out how to fix the Fit issue, I would give the Echo Ear Buds 5 stars.BLUETOOTH: I found that these Echo Ear Bud were extremely EASY to pair since I already had and used the Alexa App with my Echo devices at home. They are supposed to be able to pair with my Fire TV stick, my Fire Tablet, or a second Bluetooth device, but I haven’t tried those yet.ALEXA INTEGRATION: The Buds work great as an Alexa device. When I’m home, I say, “Alexa, Bedroom on” and the lights (with smart plugs) come on just as if I wasn’t using the Buds and was using my Alexa Show instead. There’s no conflict between the Buds and my Echo devices — the Buds appear to have priority over the other devices. The Buds allow me to have Alexa access anywhere I go without having to pull out my phone. This is especially useful in the car. One nice thing: The trigger word, “Alexa” works anytime the Buds are in — my previous buds required a triple-tap to activate the assistant, but Alexa works fine without having to tap anything.Another issue I have had a couple of times: the Right Bud stopped working for a little while. I put both buds back in the case to re-set them. The Alexa App sometimes showed the Right Bud not working, but then hours later, it seemed to work fine. I’m not sure why that happened.I had one other pair of Ear Buds I retired because they would not stay in my ears. I would really like to keep the Echo Ear Buds if I can overcome the fit problem.
