Great headphones and Amazing Customer Service Update
I bought the Amorno headphones in August of 2018 to replace an expensive LG equivalent. I loved the LG version, but they cracked in 3 places. Interestingly, the Amorno folds in 2 places, making them more portable, reliable, dependable, and less likely to crack. Moreover, the plastic is more durable and comfortable around the neck—where it rests. The retractable feature is both smart and well-designed as it protects the wires—the most fragile part. The sound quality is excellent; the unit includes different sizes of earbuds. My ears are small and the market seems to be inundated with larger earbuds… Finally, it took about 10 seconds to pair with all of my Bluetooth devices. Before you count the number of “ables,” I want to share what happened when the retractable feature stopped working on the left side a few weeks ago… I sent an email to customer service. Amy responded in a few hours. I told her what happened… She mailed out a new pair as well as a tracking number. I waited a few days and Amy wrote back asking me how the headphones were? I never received them. According to the tracking number, I should have had them. I went to my mailbox and there was nothing there… My theory: They were either put in the wrong mailbox and/or stolen. Either way, I never got them and wrote back to Amy. She assured me that they were delivered. Again, they were stolen. I issued a complaint to my HOA and it turns out that this is not the first time something disappeared in my neighborhood. I told Amy that I was going to research a new pair because the retractable feature was the reason I requested a new pair. My frustration level was also quite elevated. She told me that I could look for another brand or she could just send me another pair. I did forward the letter to her from my HOA because I’m not a scammer. She sent the new pair with expedited service and I just charged them today in 4 hours. This situation was handled so well. Amy should teach other businesses about QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE. She just wrote me again asking how the headphones were… I responded… To wrap up, the newer headphones are still great and I will buy other products from this company. Things are going to go awry in this world; it’s all about how the situation is handled. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Thank you, Amy, for going many extra miles to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase… I’m still elated!

Very good but you get what you pay for
For about 6-7 years, I’ve been using the LG Tone line of yolk-style bluetooth headphones. I’ve liked them all…until they break. Inevitably every single one of them breaks after about 1-2 years. Sometimes I submit an RMA and have them fixed/replaced, and other times I just buy a new model.Recently, my LG Tone Active A80 stopped working on one side and the vibration feature failed. While waiting for my $75 headphones to get fixed I decided to try out this $35 model. Here is my comparison:BUILD QUALITYThe first thing I noticed is that the Amorno feels lower quality but not too much. The wires aren’t as flexible, and the retracting mechanism is a push-button type instead of a “pull and release” kind. They do zip up super fast though. Overall, the plastic seems cheaper. But I haven’t had them long enough to know if it lasts so the jury is still out.DESIGNThe biggest problem I have with the Amorno is that it’s huge. The A80 is actually smaller than most LG Tone models, but I loved that it did a great job at hiding under a shirt collar. The A80 could fit under every collar I have and nobody noticed I had them on until I pulled an earbud out. The Amorno sticks out of every single collar I have, and the ends are significantly thicker than the A80, and the earbuds don’t fit back in their slots as cleanly. It would help if the silver design elements were black so they could blend in, but they really stand out. I don’t like the design of the body of this thing.CONTROLSHowever, I DO like the design of the controls! They’re far better than the LG Tone series. The Amorno can fit all the controls on one side of the headset, and combines a bunch of the controls that LG puts on there. Most LG Tone Models have FF, REW, Play/pause, answer call/digital assistant, volume up, volume down, power. That’s 7 controls. The Amorno basically has three controls on it: play/pause, a slider, and power. The slider controls FF/REW if you quickly move it one side or the other, and changes the volume if you hold it one direction or the other. I wasn’t sure how I’d like this but now I hope LG puts this in all of their headsets.Another thing I hope LG will pick up on is the power switch. The Amorno has an on/off sliding switch. The LG models have what feels like a Windows shutdown option with a button you have to hold down to turn the thing on or off. When I’m turning the headset off I have to hold that down for a long while until the voice says “power off.” To be fair, I think the Amorno basically functions the same way, where sliding the power button doesn’t actually cut power, just sends a signal to turn the headset off (because once you slide it you still get a voice indicator), but at least I know that I’ve moved a switch and it really feels like I’m cutting power to it. It’s a better physical design, IMO.SOUND QUALITYThis is actually the least important to me because I almost exclusively listen to podcasts, so it’s not the biggest deal. That said, the Amorno doesn’t sound nearly as good as the A80. Everything is a little muddier on the Amorno. I also wish I hadn’t thrown away the ear bud back because the defaults are way too big for me, but that’s my bad.FINAL THOUGHTSWhen I get my LG back from repairs…I’m going to go back to it. I just can’t get over how big these MFers are. I look like a total dork wearing these things. Yolk-style headphones are pretty dorky-looking to begin with, but these things are huge, and at least I can hide the A80 under my collar so nobody knows I’m a dork (at least not because of that). I’m going to keep the Amorno around for two things:1- as a temporary headset for when my LG models inevitably break2- I’m going to try them out as headphones for my Apple TV, but I don’t think they’ll work through the wall…I’ll end on a positive note for the Amorno: I love that they fold up. Absolutely love it. I can fit these in my pocket or in many other convenient places which were much more awkward for my A80. I don’t think the foldability justifies the bulk of these things, but it’s a wonderful feature.I should also note that, for $35, these are really good. The LG Tone series has always been pricey and prone to breaking. If the Amorno has at least the durability of the Tone series, $35 is a decent price, as $75-100 is way too much for something I have to replace every 1-2 years or get repaired all the time. $35 is exactly right for this headset.

    100% best product
Iv now owned 5-6 pairs of these headphones besides the area where it folds breaking after 3-4 months I usely just tape them back together but it’s probably no fault of the product because I have them on me 24/7 besides the 45 min to an hour it takes to charge I truly believe I have torcheruse tested these to the max ! I sleep with them on top of daily use batteries last all day or night sounds great and have recommended to everone !! Absolutely great product!! I do literally sleep with them on all night wake up charge them for 45min on the way to work and I’m good for my 12-15 hour shift than the same charge on the way home and good all night to cancel out the noises of the wife sawing logs (snoring) or the dogs, kids,or people throw out the night ! Can’t say enough good things about this product… unfortunately just broke the last pair and have to wait a month to buy a new pair but will Absolutely keep buying them honestly i feel naked without them !!! And for the price they are the absolute best deal out there hands down !!! Maybe one day they will sponsor me to test there product one can only dream tho lol 😆 because I do Absolutely put them through the ringer and they hold up 100xs better than anything else! Great price, sound, comfortable all around amazing product… most the time I forget I even have them on they are so light and what I enjoy is while riding my motorcycle they hug my neck and don’t have to worry about them comeing off… just buy a pair and you will see what I mean ….

I gave these headphones 5 stars only to warn you that they suck! The microphone barely works, the bass is too high, (I could barely understand people) and I had to pay $21.00 to ship them back!! Do not buy! Horrible product!

Worst head phones. Not even worth the price you pay for it. Sellers owns no responsibility for the product when u complaint about issues. You can get much better products for the price you pay.1) There is no noise cancellation2) switches off intermittently and restarts and very annoying during meetings3) Very poor customer care by both Amazon and seller.Worst product recommend not to buy this at all.

Ever since my LG HBS 910 broken I was looking for another product that mimics the LG and I had found these earphones. They are way cheaper than the LG but are well built. The sound from the earphones are clear and the bass is decent for the price. They are a good replacement for the LG. I have not tried the earphones for calling as I only use them only for listening to music. These earphones are good to listen to music.
