Great value. More power than others.
It works exactly as advertised. I’ve charged it with one of my boat’s solar panels, using an XT60 connector (a common non-proprietary connector, contrary to another reviewer). I’ve charged it at both of the supported rates with AC power. The “ambience” lights are silly, but easily turned off via a button on the front panel. There aren’t many power stations at this price point that can output power at this rate. I’ve used it to power (AC) tools, a portable induction stovetop, and my laptop via USB.

This is a perfect auxiliary power station. We have been using it on our boat to power an extra freezer. It charges quickly with solar power and will keep the freezer running continuously for 2+ dayseven without charging it. We have used it with power tools, toasters and a sewing machine. Very happy with it

Wow, powerful little thing, and it was PRICED heavenly…OMG talk about bargain for the buck…HOWEVER, these are the few MINOR disappointments I have at present. One cannot be easily addressed without modification, the other is just that they answer my dang email….1. The one negative I have for the unit is…they use an INPUT PLUG for Solar that is proprietary to their unit, and NOT standard 12 Volt FLAT PACK ready. I had to CUT INTO one of my own flat pack wires and Engineer a charge cable using Black Electrical Tape. IT WORKS but it would be NICE if they at least provided a flat pack 12 vdc adaptor or something…. NO ONE ELSE uses their adaptor, so I guess that is how they intended to get your to buy THEIR solar panels. This MIGHT BE causing a problem in getting all the solar TO the unit….but I don’t think so. I think that is the solar panels I did order, and THEY are going back…not THIS…this little Jewel is staying.2. I am having a terrible time getting info on ADDING A SECOND BATTERY PACK…this should be brain dead and readily avialable. Might be that OTHER units have the same connections so that I could use, for example the extended battery pack for Bluetti or Jackery, etc… I wrote them and asked, but NO REPLY in 4 days….IF these things were resolved, my rating would be a 5.

Reliable and easy to use
I compared a few batteries, and eventually picked this.It arrived fast and very easy to use. Press the button and control the section that is being used.What I love the most is the fast charging, even forgot to charge it doesnât request too much time to recover.The lighting on the top was a great add on, and Iâm now trying to use the app as well.

Excellent Product
I like the product, as advertised and the next best thing I could get after much research, I didn’t want a gas generator as I am not mechanical,and I heard friends after hurricane Milton say..it just stopped running and I don’t know why…that would be me! Plus no one could get gas!! I have tested this unit to she what it can do so I know ahead of time…it kept my wife’s hospital air mattress bed inflated for over 48 hours…I in the near future will get a second one just to be in really good shape. Very portable,and recharged in house outlet to 100 percent in about 40 mins. I ordered through Amazon which got me a 200 dollar off coupon so that helped as well. Would recommend to anyone not wanting to deal with a gas generator and all that involves and you keep this anywhere you want to in the house and it is super silent to boot.

I bought because they advertised you could daisy chain additional batteries. What happened?
UPDATE: Seller got in touch with me right away. Says the extra batteries WILL be available about May 2025. I’ve raised my rating from1 to 3 stars due to their quick response and clear answer. Will have to now wait and see if they actually offer additional batteries in the Spring. If so, I’ll UPDATE my review again.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Works GREAT as a standalone unit, but one of the reasons I bought THIS unit (Ampace 1500) was because they promoted that you could connect additional batteries to extend usable time. GONE from their website, GONE from their Amazon Store, are ANY mention of those additional battery packs. From the user manual:”An additional battery can be connected to increase the power capacity of the Andes 1500.””Using extra battery -This product can be connected with up to seven extra batteries at the same time, to meet higher capacity needs.” (The image is from the manual, too.)Now I’m wondering how dependable the company is for other claims. I noticed another reviewer gave a lower rating for the same reason, too. Are there extra batteries for this? If so, what is the cost and availability? If not, can I get a full refund on my purchase (from) Oct 8, 2024?I’ll update my review/rating after getting a response from Ampace.

Best addition for my home
This home backup system has been a valuable addition to my home. Price is very reasonable. Its seamless transition during power outages is impressive, and the ability to keep essential appliances running for up to eight hours provides significant peace of mind. The system’s efficiency is a pleasant surprise, and its durability and charging capabilities are promising. I’m confident in its ability to handle various power situations, and I am using it for camping in the summer. In winter I can use it for sump pump backup so I wouldnât worry about basement being flooded by power outages again!!

Form Skepticism to Satisfaction
A month ago, when I was debating two similar products between EcoFlow Delta 2 and Ampace Andes 1500, it took me a while to make my final decision. This item is mainly for my dad’s medical equipment. I’m not a power station expert so my decision was based on: faster recharging time, larger output capacity, more charge cycles, higher watts, reasonable pricing and reliable customer service. In the end, all things considered, I chose Ampace Andes 1500. A month later, with my fist-hand experience with this item, here is my conclusion: very proud of my decision and this product!
