Why is my power bank providing fewer charges than expected?
Energy loss during charging due to battery cell and circuitry efficiency results in a 30% to 45% capacity reduction. A fully charged Anker Prime Power Bank (9.6K, 65W, Fusion) delivers about 5,200 to 6,700mAh.
How can I estimate the number of charges for my device?
Use this formula: (Power Bank Total Capacity × 0.65) ÷ Device Battery Capacity = Estimated Charges. For example, an iPhone with a 3,349mAh battery can get approximately 1.8 charges from a 9,600mAh power bank.
How long does it take to recharge the power bank?
The recharge time depends on the charger’s power and the ambient temperature. Using the included 30W charger at 77°F (25°C), it takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours to fully recharge the power bank.
Why does the display show a recharging time of 99H 59M?
This occurs when the connected device’s power exceeds 30W (PD 20V), stopping the recharge, or when high battery cell temperature triggers safety protocols, pausing charging.
What is the maximum output of the power bank when charging two devices simultaneously?
When charging two devices, the power bank delivers a maximum of 45W from the USB-C1 port and 20W from the USB-C2 port. Output varies based on the connected device, providing 18 to 27W for phones and 45 to 65W for laptops.
65W High-Speed Charging: Delivers up to 65W output. Maximum output of 65W is available only when using a single port. When multiple ports are in use, the USB-C1 port provides up to 45W, and the USB-C2 port provides up to 20W. (Note: Output also varies based on the connected device.)
Versatile Dual-Function Charging: This compact 9,600mAh power bank also serves as a wall charger and comes with a charging cable for flexible use.
Small Size, Monumental Power: The 10.76 oz ultra-compact power bank fits easily into any pocket or bag, delivering substantial energy without the bulk.
Charge with Clarity: Stay fully informed while charging with a 1.3-inch smart LCD display that offers real-time updates on battery levels and power output.
What You Get: Anker Prime Power Bank (9.6K, 65W, Fusion), Anker USB-C to USB-C Cable (3.3 ft, 100W, Briaded), travel pouch, welcome guide, 24-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
Customers say
Customers appreciate the power bank’s charging capabilities, portability, and quality. They find it fast-charging, lightweight, and portable. Many consider it a versatile power source for traveling and using as a power bank when not connected to an outlet. The display design is also praised. However, opinions vary regarding the power level, battery life, and value for money.

Itâs incredibly powerful for its size, with 65W output that effortlessly charges my MacBook Pro and even fast-charges my phone. The built-in AC plug is a game-changerâit eliminates the need for extra cords when Iâm charging up the power bank itself, which is super convenient. Its support for PD 3.0 and PPS ensures compatibility with a wide range of devices, and the 30W fast recharging is a nice touch, allowing me to get it back to full power quickly. Plus, itâs slim and lightweight, making it easy to carry around in my bag without adding bulk. I highly recommend it for anyone needing reliable, high-powered charging on the go!

Supports PD on both USB-C ports simultaneously. Compact and elegant, good display features.
Anker has been my preferred source for powerbanks and cables for years. I bought this to replace the Anker 733 GaNPrime 2-in-1 powerbank/charger, which didn’t work for my need to power a TP-Link 12 V travel router and a 5 V Raspberry Pi 4B at the same time, so I returned it. I’m pleased to report that this unit will in fact run them both; however, there are two quibbles I have with it.The first quibble is that if I boot the router first, then plug in the Pi, the power drops to the router, and it reboots. I suspect this is because the router is 12 V and the Pi is 5 V only, so when I plug in the Pi, something about the way the Prime Fusion 9.6K negotiates the Power Delivery protocol causes the power to drop. This does not seem to happen when I boot the Pi first, then the router. The workaround is to simply plug them both in at the same time. My Pi is set with a static IP address, so it doesn’t need DHCP or anything from the router in order to boot properly. The second quibble is that plugging the powerbank into AC power or unplugging it from AC power also causes the power output on the USB-C ports to drop momentarily, so both my router and my Pi reboot. This would not be a problem for people using it purely as a charger or backup battery for devices that themselves contain batteries, but this is a problem for my particular application, because the plan here is to build a portable travel network, and when the battery runs low, I want to be able to plug the powerbank into AC power to keep going, without having both units reboot and then have to reattach the router to whatever public WiFi I’m using, and when I then need to move off the AC power and get mobile again, I also do not want to have to go through that all over again, as well.I’m not sure that any powerbank/charger will offer me this capability, because it’s obviously not something that product designers are going to tend to consider when designing their circuitry and electronics, at least, not yet. For now, I will have to live with these limitations.Otherwise, although the powerbank is a little thicker than the plastic case I plan to use to transport router, Pi, and powerbank altogether, along with all their associated cables, it fits well enough that it doesn’t impede anything. Other than the slight drawbacks I’ve mentioned here, the only thing that could make this unit better is if it had even more battery capacity. I was torn between this unit and the 12K powerbank-only model, but selected this one, because of the built-in AC charger. It’s possible the larger 20K, 24K, or 27.65K units might not exhibit the same issues with the power dropping when attaching or detaching them from a USB-C charger, but they are much more expensive and much larger, and I cannot afford to order them to test that.Although the larger units only accept charger input on the USB-C ports, they do offer a USB-A port that would allow me to plug in both my router and my Pi and still leave one USB-C port free for recharging the powerbank, itself. One other feature that would be welcome is if the powerbank/charger could be turned off with a physical switch while the devices remain connected. It seems to me that adding a mode to the power switch were pressing and holding would turn it on or off would be easy to implement in the device’s firmware.

Anker missed the mark
I initially bought this because I was under the impression this 9600 mah powerbank was better than the other competitors . It has the display , the size , the built in AC plug , the input and output power and other features that many other 10k mah powerbanks brands dont have . Now onto the reason why anker missed the mark . The charging output power is not 65w , the most Iâve seen is 17w. The other thing I donât like is the USB-C ports, when I connect it to my iPhone or Samsung for whatever reason it stops charging and then begins to recharge the two devices again. I tried different cords and the same thing keeps happening. Also this powerbanks output power is very limited to other non anker devices which is really annoying , because if your non anker device says it can recharge itself at 60w , and ankers output maximum power is 65w, you at least expect to receive 50-55w going into the device your recharging, but you donât . Iâve tested this myself, I was trying to recharge my other powerbank with ankers (the anker was plugged into the wall at 100% btw) , and It was able to output only 15w . Totally disappointed . So if you have a non anker device that being a powerbank , laptop ,phone etc expect to receive 20-25% of the 65w output power Anker claims youâll get . Again I donât expect to receive the full 65w of power , I know thereâll be some loss due to heat . But to receive 20-25% of whatâs being claimed is not worth paying this price .

Multiple Functions
This is a great charger. I keep it with me at all times because it will work not only as a battery back for you phone but can give you a little extra juice for your laptop as well. The wall plug also makes it a great wall charger for any mobile device and it can charge itself. It has a relatively small form factor so it will fit in any bag and even could fit in you pocket.
