LGA1851 AND LGA1700 CONTACT FRAME: Improved contact pressure distribution through Intel mounting frame for efficient heat transfer, thanks to even CPU contact surface
NATIVE AMD OFFSET MOUNTING: Optimized for the multi-die chiplet design of Ryzen processors – 5mm offset for optimal coverage of the CPU hotspot, resulting in more efficient heat transfer
ACTIVE COOLING OF THE VOLTAGE CONVERTERS: PWM-controlled VRM fan that additionally cools components in the base area, such as voltage converters
INTEGRATED CABLE MANAGEMENT: The PWM cables of the radiator fans are integrated into the jacket of the hoses, which means that only one visible cable is connected to the motherboard
LIMITED COMPATIBILITY WITH A FEW MOTHERBOARDS: Oversized coolers on the M.2_1 slot can lead to compatibility problems. An overview and solution is available in the technical data, in the manual and on the manufacturer’s website. Please use the compatibility check

Great product great service!
Product arrived earlier than expected and works perfectly. It’s a 420mm aio so obviously an appropriate case is essential. It’s a cooling beast.

Outstanding cooling performance
This cooler performs better than the custom loop that I had installed previously. (Corsair hydro series). I believe the offset cold-plate placement helps. This cooler has lowered my max temps by ~5c on my Liquid Metal 5800x CPU, with much less Pump/fan noise!

Good – if you can make it work
In short – exceptional cooling, great price. Make sure your case will support it.My case is Lian Li o11 Dynamic XL and it barely fit. I had to reroute my CPU power cables. So if your case is smaller than that, get the 360 version.Cons – very tedious AMD installation.Pros – great temps, low noise

Not a good pick
Mounting bracket and the cold plate were poorly machined. The tolerances were off significantly. I tried this on a 12900K and a 5950X to see if I could get a better fit on the opposite socket type. Both were a struggle to mount. The good…. Fans are fine that’s about it.

Easy to install – HUGE! Fits Phantec Enthoo Pro
Does this 420 cooler fit in the Phantek Enthoo Pro server case? I had a hard time getting this question answered before I started buying pieces for my new PC. And the answer is: YES and NO. Read on:I installed this 420 AIO in a Phantek Enthoo Pro server-size case and the Asus Rogue Strix Z790 Motherboard (Intel).Super easy to install, (topside mount, fans in pre-assembled config), appears to be good quality. This is my first AIO I’ve tried, so only time will tell how it performs and holds up. So for now I’ll give it a 3-4 (neutral) rating and will update later.Only 1 problem I ran into (see photo): The end fan of this cooler sits right on the edge of the (2) ATX_12V power connectors of this motherboard, so you cannot install them. I suppose you could remove the latch on the power connectors, but you take the risk of them coming loose.Maybe there’s a different way to solve this, but my solution was to cut a notch in the fan housing so the connectors would fit. If you have a Dremel, cutting blade and a steady hand, this should only take a few minutes. If you do this, REMOVE that fan from the cooler completely so you don’t risk hitting the radiator or other parts with your cutter! It’s far cheaper to replace that fan than the entire cooler if you slip and hit that radiator. It only takes a tiny nick in the cooling tubes to spring a leak. And so I’m clear: This fitment issue is NOT Arctic’s fault! I realize there are numerous motherboard/case combos so you can’t blame Arctic. Since this case and motherboard has been out there for some time, maybe they’re already aware of this issue. If not, then heads up Arctic! If you happen to read my review, maybe in the future you can slip something in your instructions that gives a warning?WARNING: The 420 Cooler may have fitment issues with certain Asus Motherboards! So yes, the cooler DOES fit the Enthoo Pro, but it depends on which motherboard you’re using.Out of the box, the Asus Rogue Strix and this 420 Arctic cooler will bolt in, but those power connectors won’t without some modifying. I’m sure the 360 would be a breeze; however.-I didn’t notice the power connector problem until AFTER I installed the cooler and motherboard (my bad). This Asus board has heat-sinks in the way so you can’t simply remove the cooler or slide it down. You have to remove the motherboard before you can remove the cooler (or fan). You might have enough room to remove the fan screws, but it’s VERY tight. You also need to deal with the fan’s power wires. After notching the fan a bit, the connectors fit just fine and you can tuck the wires out of the way. I wasn’t concerned about notching the fan housing and losing any cooling efficiency as the 420 is over-kill to begin with. The 360 is probably more than adequate, but I figured if a 420 will fit and the price was the same.. why not? Besides… ‘Over-Kill’ is my middle name.. LOL.Hope this helps someone!

Perfect for AMD
It dropped the temps of the 7800X3D by 7 degrees Celsius in benchmarks now operating around 75C max! Easy set up only difficulty was securing the cold plate cause of the high tenting but once secured really good contact!

Works great with my 5950X
Upgraded from my NZXT 360 and before I even messed with the fan curve optimizer I’m getting a 10C drop across the board in temp.and with my open air style case the size of this thing doesn’t really pose any issues.

Good product.
Fits Sockets LGA1851 and LGA1700 only! Requires large space (radiator: 18″x 5.5″x2.6″). Fine product, quiet fans, ‘low price’ (No RGB). Fits Phanteks Enthoo Pro case , but may need to DIY notch a fan to clear MB CPU power headers depending on MB.

Vorher: Idle 45°C+, Gaming 75°C-85°C.
