Good board, “used” appears as new
Bought used on amazon (Shipped/Sold from ASRock). Received what looks like a brand new unit. Literally everything looked brand new. Dropped a 3700x and 3080 in this and ran without any issues. Running solid for a month. I’m impressed with the board and brought life back into the system. This was an upgrade from a prebuilt that had a x570 board but was crippled.Update 26dec24. Read through the compatibility list and the motherboard came with an outdated bios. Luckily I had a 3700x. Updated the bios to 5.60, and installed a 5700x3d. Runs great.

Works fine, no complaints so far.
Had to replace my original motherboard, and got this one, works just fine.

Replacement mobo works great
My previous motherboard (Asus Prime X570-P) died on me so this motherboard was a perfect replacement at a good price. The only issue was i had to re-activate windows because it was a big hardware change from my other motherboard. Windows saw it as new PC.

Had this MB not worked, this would be a 1-star review…
The package arrived on time and well-packaged, externally. Once I opened the box, I was disappointed, and prepared myself for further disappointment. The original packaging had bee opened, before. When I unpacked it, I found there was NO I/O face plate, NO mounting screws, almost everything that one would expect to find in a brand new motherboard package was gone. All it contained was a manual (had been handled, before), a couple of mounts, a couple of screws, and SATA cables. The anti-static bag was wide open. Piss poor packaging. I was anticipating board failure of SOME kind, but decided to go through with the re-build, just on the off-chance that this was returned by someone too dumb or too lazy to properly utilize it.I’m glad I did… I was formerly a die-hard ASUS customer. Recently, due to a dramatic drop in both quality and customer service, I decided to go ASRock. and I’m happy with that choice. Start to finish, this was a breeze, and the new build is performing VERY well. Linux Mint (21) was installed in under 45 minutes, start to finish (including updates). None of the issues I experienced with ASUS popped up, and this is how a rebuild is SUPPOSED to go. My only complaint with this was my own oversight… no wifi/BT. It has the M.2 slot for an AIO card, and that was remedied for %30. For the price, the board is outstanding. We’ll see how long this lasts but, at present, this is firing on all cylinders, and it truly ROCKS. Full reboot is under 15 seconds (gen4 nVME, Ryzen 5800X 3rd gen Proc, and128 GB Corsair RAM). I will update, should any circumstances change but, at present, I can actually recommend this board for the builder on a budget.

Excellent for Unraid Server!
If youâre looking for a cheaper option to build a home media server look no further than this board. Itâs supports up to 128GB of RAM and a AMD 5000 series CPU no problem. This isnât a board for overclockers. You can use a dedicated GPU along with an LSI HBA without losing one of the two NVMe M.2 slots. The board disables a couple of the SATA ports instead. Iâm using a AMD Ryzen 9 5900x and itâs completely stable on the newest bios version. Maybe this might help others, but some RTX cards wonât post properly because of the CSM bios setting. The board isnât broken, but you have to basically turn off UEFI only by changing the CSM setting and everything will work fine. I had this issue with an RTX A2000 GPU. Luckily I have a spare GTX 1660 sitting around for testing purposes.

This board was not stable for me.
Pros:This motherboard had a near perfect feature set for my uses… Software Development in the Visual Studio world.1) On board HDMI 2.0 plus on board Display port 1.4 for dual monitors with a Ryzen 3400G CPU.2) Dual PCI 4.0 X4 M.2 slots for FAST disk. The best bang per buck on a x570 MB for my needs that I could find by far.Cons:This motherboard was not stable! With the recommended GSkill ram windows would BSD.After replacing the GSkill with the recommended Corsair LPT ram the system would just FREEZE, the monitor would go blank and a powercycle was required to get back up and running.I tried 4 different BIOS version (Really nice to have the easy bios load in setup), the latest BIOS version would not recognize any of my drives.Summary:I replaced this MB with a Gigabyte x570 Aorus Ultra (At twice the sale price of the ASRock MB) and have not had any problems since. My configuration was very minimal: x570 Steel Ledgend (Gigabyte Aorus ultra), GSkill (Corsair) RAM, and Ryzen 3400G. The only thing I changed was the MB from ASRock to Gigabyte and the system became solid as a rock.. AhHem.. cement bunker! Both the GSKill and Corsair RAM work in the Gigabyte board with no issues. The Windows 10 OS load that would freeze on the ASRock board booted and ran fine on the Gigabyte board… I did eventually do a fresh Win 10 OS install on the Gigabyte to get rid of any of the ASRock drivers.P.S. The Sabrent 1TB Rocket NVMe 4.0 Gen4 PCIe M.2 Internal SSD is sublime!!!! Windows boot time is faster than my old MB would wake up from sleep. I can do a Windows 10 OS load in about 8 minutes from a USB 3.0 stick… and I did MANY (at least 10) Window reloads when using the problematic ASRock.

Runs my 2600x and 2666 memory perfectly, could not get the memory to run at it’s rated speed in a B450 board.Runs my 3 NVMe drives (one in a PCi-e adapter card) and 3 Sata SSD’s without issueI don’t overclock so can’t speak to that but would definitely recommend this board for a regular workhorse PC

My friend that specializes in building custom PC’s recommended that I get this motherboard for my build. Not going to lie, this motherboard looks really amazing and seems like it is a really good pick. However, I spent the last hour on a call with my friend where we went through every possible location in my room where an M.2 Screw could be and we could not find it. We came to the realization that for some reason that we weren’t GIVEN an M.2 Screw in the first place. Which means that I’m unable to properly attach my SSD to my pc.I spent the last of my savings on this PC as I had believed that I deserved something nice for finishing university and yet, of course, I encounter problems with my first PC build. I physically can’t use my SSD which means no storage for Windows and literally anything, that means that my PC will now be sitting and collecting dust until I find the money to replace that missing screw. It might sound like a overreaction but I have literally 4 dollars to my name that I can use to splurge on something I want which isn’t enough to get the cheapest M.2 Screw set on Amazon.TDLR: Overall, this motherboard looks great and I believe that it will function great but I received the product with everything except the M.2 Screws which means that I can’t even attach my Storage Drive in order to do anything with my computer.
