Really good Mini PC
I just started using this device (i5 version) version and I’m already loving it.Extensive number of ports. Very small form factor. Relatively quiet (although it might get bit noisy if doing some update or some more intensive task – which is OK).I connected it to my 5k Studio Display and it works like a charm.Connectivity is excellent (don’t forget to install official drivers from Asus website).I am planning to use it as my home server 24/7 for home assistant, web-server BUT also use it as a personal computer (not for gaming of course) occasionally, so for these expectations my this PC should perform just fine without being noisy and without taking a huge chunk of space.

Noisy fan!
I bought the 14 NUC Pro+ (Intel Ultra 9) and the Pro (Intel Ultra 7) to compare them.Iâm ultimately returning the Pro+ and going with the Pro because for my purposes (running occasional LLM inference) it is less noisy and performs almost identically.

Easy to setup, a little loud, no 3.5 audio
This is a very nice computer, price is right. The only things that I would change is, it’s a little loud and it does not have a 3.5mm jack for audio. I had to buy a USB speaker set. It seems fast enough for normal tasks, Excel, Word, Acrobat, Chrome browsing etc.Super simple to setup, everything is installed and ready to go. I think for the price its a good buy. I love the space saving.

Fantastic, small form-factor PC!!!
The ASUS NUC 14 is a nice replacement to an HUGE HP Tower desktop that can no longer be supported. This was a Christmas present for my husband – took a few hours to set it up and get through all the patches and updates (as you would expect for a new PC), but it’s working, and SO much faster than the old HP! And the size is perfect! It’s smaller than an Apple Mac Mini (for comparison)!

Needed to return would not properly start up, seemed to overheat and the fan did not work. Returned.
ASUS tech support wanted me to take it apart and take out memory and other components and send to them for 7 to 10 days. I had only had it for 2 hours and did not want to run the risk of not getting my new unit back and having a refurbished unit returned to me. Amazon would not swap another unit so I returned for a full refund which worked out just fine.

Works for us
We use this on a KVM as a general productivity and light development work computer. For our purpose it has been perfect. We use MS Office and Visual Studio code on it without any issues. Very small and quiet. It is very portable. You can have KVM cables ready for it at different stations and then just move it around to where you need it.
