Great motherboard with 14th gen support out of the box
Beautiful motherboard that works great with a white build. Built in LED is great quality and motherboard has a fair number of aRGB connections. Worked with my i714700k out of the box with no bios update, though I was also able to easily update it anyways. Bios is easy to navigate and overclocking is also relatively simple. The only negative I would say is the motherboard only has one usb 3.0 connection so if your pc case has multiple usb 3.0 connections you will need to get a pcie usb 3.0 expansion. The motherboard also has a gpu release button which is convenient for larger gpus.My build has a GeForce Aero OC 4090 side mounted which worked flawlessly with this motherboard as well. Another great benefit is the pcie lanes do not get bottlenecks by connecting extra M.2 drives or expansion cards.Motherboard has gen 4 M.2 but not gen5

Not all monoâs are created equally
The finish of this mobo took me back after unboxing. Never had a ROG mobo before and Iâm pretty sure Iâm only buying ROG from now on. Very solidly built, easy to install, and the armory crate is a great help for keeping drivers updated.Handles my 1Gb internet with no issues, but Iâm also connected to Ethernet which is preferable over wireless. Very easy to install everything, and all the M.2 slots have heat sinks with adhesive if your M.2 doesnât come with a heat sink.Awesome mobo and will definitely be buying ROG for the foreseeable future

A great board for gamers and experts
Having had other boards from MSI and Gigabyte in the same z90 series, I was flooded by the options in both the bios and the the software. The board works hassle free, and works well with rgb devices. There are a couple things that really sticks out as positives. The first is the button release for graphics card. It worked wonderfully when I had to replace my GPU. The second is the vast array of NVMe slots. It was amazing to have of the options. If you know your storage runs a bit hot, you can locate them in a cooler place.I would recommend this board to any seasoned computer person, who loves having the freedom to try a little tweaking of the configuration.

Exactly what I needed
Easy to build with this and I like the finished products look with the hidden cords.

Should be awesome, but received DOA board.
Bought this MB back in July to build myself a new gaming computer. Unfortunately it took me a few months to save up for a GPU, but my 4070 TI Super arrived so finally able to set it up.I love the white look which goes perfectly with my white case, and white AIO water cooler. Plenty of I/O ports and built in WiFi are nice. I also like that it has 5 NVMe spots for plenty of storage. The GPU quick release is also very nice. Now for the bad. The MB I was shipped appears to be DOA. I got everything installed, and powered it up. The fans kick on, MB shows itâs getting power with the troubleshooting LEDs, it passes the CPU check, RAM check, Video check, but then gets stuck on the green âbootâ LED, and goes no farther. The monitor powers on so it gets a signal, but absolutely nothing appears on screen. No ASUS splash screen, nor does it load into BIOS.So I removed everything and reseated every cable and component to try again. Same thing, stops on the green âbootâ LED.So then I tried an i5 CPU with built in graphics, and removed the graphics card (this will rule out the GPU as the issue, and also the Power Supply since itâs using 1/2 the wattage without the beefy GPU), same issue.Tried 2 other sticks of RAM, and 3 other NVMe SSDs to make sure those components were not the issue, same issue.Iâve started the RMA process with ASUS, so I will report back after that process to let everyone know how their customer support is, how long the RMA process takes, and if they are able to resolve the issue.Hoping to come back with good news, and hopefully bump up the star rating, as this should be an amazing board once it is working.

Great motherboard, needs finesse with internet
This was super interesting to setup.Hardware setup went fine. Love how the M.2 SSD Slot has a toggle on where you would expect to add a screw for stability. Lots of room peripherals. When I completed the hardware setup, the first thing I did was put in a m.2 hard drive I installed windows 10 on in the past to try it out. I was so elated to see that it worked! Another successful desktop build. However, there was no internet connectivity from the ethernet cord or the WiFi antennae. I tried both cat5 and cat6 but to no avail. So I think, ok cool, no worries. Let me download the LAN and WiFi drivers for the motherboard from the ASUS site from a different computer onto a usb. However, when I launched the setup exe I got an error of “Does not support this Operating System: WNT_10**_64”. Alright no problem, let me download a windows 11 ISO and upgrade. Still same error. Ok, no worries, let me fresh install windows 11. Still same issue.I finally got it working after the following: Downloading the BIOS firmware update onto a USB and flashing it in BIOS. Firmware update went fine. After that, I installed the WiFi driver by running the setup.exe directly off the zip file on the flash drive. For some reason, extracting the zip file onto my desktop and running the exe from the extracted folder kept encountered the “Does not support” issue. However, running both the WiFi and LAN driver setup from the respective zip files in the flash drive worked just fine.Overall, pretty happy with this motherboard. The bluetooth works great but needs the antennae dongle to catch bluetooth signal. For WiFi, the antennae dongle is required as well. I tested it out without the dongle and it worked fine but the signal showed 2-3 out of 4 connectivity bars even though my router is 8 feet away from the desktop.USB 3.2 data transfer works amazing. The 10g USB slots work like a charm with blazing speed when I migrated my old non-m.2 ssds to a newly bought m.2 ssd. Can’t wait to try the 20g usb-c slot when I get the opportunity.Five days so far with this motherboard and its been great. Setting up the LAN / WiFi drivers in the beginning was a challenge but if you read my experience above you should be able to get through it.

I paired this board with an Intel 13900K for my Unraid server. I was looking for two things in particular, 4 m.2 slots and a motherboard that still used DDR4 memory (as I already had 128GB of DDR4 in my old server). This board has been rock solid and glad I made the purchase.
