Good computational power but can reach high temperatures
Very nice laptop. Very good for making fast computations. I just have to warn you that in the “best performance” mode, the motherboard can reach very high temperatures. If you want this laptop for its computational power, I really recommend that you also buy a cooling pad.

    Pretty great
Software engineer here. I usually have a PC desktop and a Macbook laptop. Win11 is now comfortable for development, with powershell + WSL, so I decided to try a PC laptop after a few months of researching various models. This Vivobook is light and mobile which I preferred over a bulky desktop replacement. The charging brick is chunky, but if I need to be ultra mobile, both USB-C ports support Power Delivery for charging. Performance is very solid, got LLama2 + AWQ running in a Docker container on the RTX 4070 easy enough, alongside few other containers, VSCode, browser tabs, and the occasional Overwatch2 session. Fairly quiet in normal operation, but fans can definitely make themselves heard in performance mode. Temp is good too, has not gotten uncomfortable hot to hold in my lap. I was debating the OLED version, but went with this, no issues with the screen. Keyboard and trackpad are comfortable too, as is the whole laptop overall. I’m sticking to the stock 1TB SSD and 32Gb RAM for now, but might look into upgrading them down the line.

    Great performance. Bad battery life
This laptop is very powerful. Most Adobe products are smooth as butter and games aren’t a challenge for this laptop either. However, it won’t last more than an hour and a half on the battery alone. Even if you’re just browsing the internet or typing up an essay it dies incredibly fast. Most of the time I’m working on it with the charger plugged in.

The multi media products are not good products for gaming, streaming and engineering software!!!!!
I bought this product on April 29. At first, it works fine. The screen is not OLED, and it seems that’s ok, but after one and a half mounts, the laptop suddenly turns off. I tried to contact Amazon, and they said they have a 30-day return policy, and if they put a return on this, I should pay a restoking fee!!! So I called Asus. They said you should send it for repair. A $1600 laptop should go to the ASUS repair center and be opened and repaired. It means that all the advertising for replacing it is just lies, and so it’s just a show!!! and they said it would take 10 days or more. So what should I do without a laptop in 10 days? How should I work? Also, I bought it for gaming. It is good for games, but it gets hot during gaming. Do not buy a Vivian book for games, hard work, or engineering software. No matter what the specifications, this kind of laptop is just good for web browsing. They advertise the testing method and aging testing, but at random, they won’t work after one and a half months. This is an ASUS multi-media product; they just change their names to different types, but they are just good for web browsing and any other tablet working!!!!!!!! I will send it for repair. I have too much data on my hard drive. i cannot  transfer my data. I don’t allow you to open it to just transfer the data from the hard drive directly. and  this is the last time I bought this brand.

ASUS VivoBook Pro 16 Laptop, 16” Display, Intel Core i9-13900H CPU, NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX
Very nice laptop. Gets a little hot for a laptop but there are solutions out there for that too. Has fan for CPU and a fan for the GPU to keep it cool. But you can hear the fans when under a full load or pushing the system hard. Isn’t that what it supposed to do anyways? I am ok with that.
