UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW: I am updating this review that I had initially submitted. Approximately 8 months after I bought these (Sep. 2023), the right earbud stopped working all the sudden. I could jiggle and hold the volume control and the sound would come back, but that was not an option. Therefore, I contacted Avantree Support and let them know what happened. They responded by email within 24 hours (other responses for the Support Incident were even quicker than that), and indicated they would send me a new set at no charge as they were still under warranty and provided clear instructions on how to order the new ones. The new ones arrived yesterday, 05/28/24 and they work like a charm.I am still very satisfied with the earbuds, and the professional customer service provided by Avantree. I still feel these are a very good value for the price, given the way they handled replacing the original defective set.ORIGINAL: I have had these Avantree E171 – Sports Earbuds Wired with Microphone for about 3 weeks now and I mainly use these on the treadmill when I run. I have found these to be more than adequate for that purpose. I previously bought Koss $6 headphones for the same purpose but I found those didn’t last long enough before one of the earpieces would just go dead.With the Avantree, I can see that for the price, they are a little better made and the wiring is a little stronger. They don’t seem flimsy at all, and the earbuds themselves and the portion that fits on your ears seem to be sturdy. They fit on my ears nicely enough with the loops and they do not bother me with or without glasses. They come with the middle size eartips attached, but I did find that when I run on the treadmill, they seemed to jump around a little, so I put on the larger ones. (The earbuds come with 3 sizes of eartips).The eartips are a little hard to get off and get the new ones on but you just need to grab the main part of the earbud and grab the base of the eartip and twist and pull a little to take it off, then work the new one on to the stem by working the opening of the eartip on the stem and pushing down and twisting a little. I have dexterity issues with my hands and I still got them on and off in about a minute.As far as the sound, these are not bass heavy at all, but that is fine (especially for the price) as the music I listen to doesn’t have much bass (such as with rap and some rock), but I found there is enough bass where needed, and they provide a nice rich, melodic sound without being “tinny” at all.In addition, although they do not have built-in noise cancelling functionality, I find that with the larger eartips when I am on the treadmill in our community fitness room, I do not hear the lady that babbles on loudly and continuously :). Thank You Avantree!I have not tried these with a cell phone, so I can’t speak to using with that. But, I have tried these on an iPod shuffle, an iPod touch and an iPad. The product listing here under “Before You Buy, Please Note That…” notes:”The built-in volume control does not work on PC, laptop, or iOS MP3 players, and the volume up button does not work on the Pixel 3A and Galaxy A9, S10, and Note 9 (it’ll activate Google Assistant instead).”I will verify the in-cord volume control and the pause button does not work on the iPod shuffle, but I found they DO work on the iPod Touch and my iPad. Seems to be a bit of a bonus.Overall, I think they are worth the price and provide a set of nice sounding wired earbuds.

Good..but,,,
I needed a set of headphones because of a neighbor who constantly complained about my TV sound {I use a sound bar with deep bass}. After reviewing all the head buds, I decided on these.PROS: They arrived early, nice package, and I was all set. The sound quality is good, the bass is meh..but I love the easy over the ear use of these earbuds. Sit nicely on the ear and the bud is not too tight in the ear. Right ear bud has white label attached, so no fussing which is which, wires do not tangle easily.CONS:After three weeks of solid enjoyment of these earbuds, the right earbud DIED. I immediately ordered a second set and once again they arrived early and I was all set..But after several weeks the right earbud DIED! I decided to give Avantree one more chance and ordered my THIRD set of earbuds and guess what? After several weeks the right earbud fails again.Well as much as I enjoyed this product, I can no longer AFFORD them. SO BUYER BEWARE..if you want earbuds that are great sounding and last for more than a few weeks..do not purchase this product.Unfortunately, I would not recommend this product.

Clear sound
Works great and makes good sound when I am out and about. Does what it is supposed to do no complaints. Very good value I especially like the design ant are very light weight.

Good for the price but very fragile. 3 pair broke.
I have bought 3 pairs of these because I like them but they keep breaking. They are comfortable and have good sound for the price but every time I would travel with these and would pack them into a carry-on they would break and I would lose the right channel. With the 3rd pair I just put them in a pocket of my down vest and the right channel went out. They don’t come with any kind of carrying case and, as I said, are very fragile. If you are a person who is very careful and treats your things like china, then these might work for you but I’ve had to go to a different brand because I can’t afford to keep buying these and having them break. The last pair broke the first week I had them so I was at least able to send them back for a refund.

I have these headphones for quite a bit now. The sound quality is great for the price. At first, the piece that is going behind the ear was hurting a little bit, but now I’m used to it and it is not hurting anymore. It is pretty comfortable to wear and it holds very well in place. I never had one falling from my ears which I love. I take these headphones with me when I go on walks without the fear of them falling out of my ears. Also, it came with a little clip so you can clip it to your shirt (or anything else) which is very useful. Maybe not the best for people who have sensitive ears. But this is a must have for people that moves a lot (sports, dance, cleaning around the house, walks and everything)

spedizione perfetta di Amazon , le cuffie Avantree ad archetto le ho provate ,sia sul mio cellulare Samsung ,sia con Pc ,Tv e un mini stereo , sinceramente sono un appassionato di cuffie sia a filo che bluetooth di varie marche molto famose ,queste cuffie ad archetto Avantree per me sono rimasto meravigliato ,l’ascolto è ottimo ,materiale buono è sono comodissime , io facendo le varie prove le preferisco usarle sul mio cellulare ,microfono e voce senza un minimo di rumore ,ho ascoltato brani che tengo sul cellulare sono quasi perfette ,alti buoni anche i medi ed i bassi buona spartizione del suono ,con Pc e stereo di casa e Tv ho notato i bassi un pochino carenti, ma sono ottimo cuffie la musica è soggettiva e personale ,poi per il prezzo è un affare,spero che la mia recensione servirà agli utenti ,io li consiglio vivamente .Ciro@Beato
