A quiet and speedy little computer
I burned it in running the Windows 11 Pro installed on it by default. Then I overwrote Windows with the Fedora 41KDE spin with Wayland and have been impressed with the performance of this neat little box. I have processed high resolution GoPro videos using kdenlive and found it to be more than 10 times faster than my previous PC. I also installed a 2 TB SSD to expand the storage to 3 TB. I am very pleased with this impressive small form factor PC.

I didn’t need a laptop because I have a screen, keypad, and mouse. Why waste money on extras you don’t need? Does everything I need. I run it on power saving so it’s not to build up too much heat. Let’s see how many years it lasts. Not a gaming computer but I don’t game. Perfect for the average user

Nicely Packaged unit good performance, runs quietly. Haven’t used it extensively yet. Did take about 3 hours to update Win 11 but so far looks like it will be good performer.

Solid, well built and fast
I purchased this to use as a PLEX server and convert videos to the h265 HEVC format. My 4th gen i7 was converting at approximately 10 to 15 frames per second, making a 2 hour movie take anywhere from 4 to 6 hours to convert. I got the BEELINK AMD Ryzen 7 5800 with 32 gb ram and a terabyte SSD. Never having used an AMD processor since the Athlon 2, I had no idea what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised that this unit converts 480p video (DVD quality) at an average of 60 frames per second, making a two hour movie take an hour to convert. I’ve kept it converting for 12 hours at a time. It stays within temp specs at a max 91.5 degrees celcius. The AMD site says the CPU is designed to run at 95 Degrees for it’s useful life. I am very happy with this unit, and am going to purchase another with dual LAN ports to build a linux firewall. Couldn’t be happier for the price.

Amazing performance from such a little box
The Beelink SER lives up to every bit of it’s promise. I bought the model with 32 Gb RAM and a 1 Tb SSD. I really like that it includes a pre-loaded, bloat-free copy of Win 11. (I don’t know why a couple of reviews report no Win 11. It’s certainly on mine.) Fast, damn near silent, and sufficient power to perform. And it’s a bargain.I wish the USB C and audio ports were on the back, but otherwise I have no complaints. The only add-on I needed was a USB hub.

It’s powerful and compact to the max. 32 gig RAM is a sweet spot nowadays because it’s more than you need now and future-proofing without going overboard.

An excellent buy!
I didn’t need another computer, but I wanted to set up another Linux machine in a different room. It didn’t take a minute to blow Windows 11 off this baby and install Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, and it runs perfectly on it. I have also live-booted several other distros to see how they do, and I have had no problems. It’s great for saving space on the desktop, it’s very fast, and features ample storage. I understand it’s also upgradeable, although I don’ have a need to do anything to it at this time.
