Finally, a mini PC with the latest gen Intel CPU
I was looking for a mini PC with the latest gen cpu for a special cyber security project when I saw this product. The small footprint of this mini PC is great for small projects and portability. I bought it and currently enjoying it.The product packaging is way better than the older mini PCs I bought before, it has a modern look and better branding on it. Inside the box are the mini PC, a 2.5 inch drive expansion kit, a long and a short HDMI cable, a VESA mounting bracket, and user guide. The setup was very quick, it was up and running in just a few minutes, including Windows updates. In comparison with the Celeron cpus, this mini PC feels like 10x faster based on actual user experience. I was able to run multiple office productivity apps all at the same time without a problem (using 16GB of memory). I connected this mini PC to my LG 4K monitor, and it plays 4K videos very smoothly, I have another QHD ultrawide monitor and dual display works fine with QHD+UHD monitors. This mini PC runs cool and quiet even at heavy loads, I tried playing some casual games like Asphalt 9 and CSGO, and they are surprisingly playable. Upgrade options are easy for this mini PC, just remove the 4 screws at the bottom and youâll have access to the M.2 drive, memory, and 2.5 inch drive installation. Itâs nice that they included 2 ribbon cables in the HDD expansion kit for the 2.5 inch drive just in case you break one. Since this is for a special project, I installed Linux (Ubuntu 20.04 LTS) and all the hardware were detected fine, but mileage may vary depending on the distro used. It feels snappier running Linux than Windows in my opinion. If there is only one thing, I wish they added another M.2 slot inside as there are enough space for one more slot, but thatâs just me for my project, most people wonât need an extra M.2 slot. So, performance wise, this mini PC ticks the boxes on all my requirements. One thing I love the most is the small footprint this mini PC has, it is very convenient to move around and stow away if not in use. The VESA mounting bracket is very useful if ever I will repurpose this as an HTPC and hide it behind my TV.Overall, this mini PC impressed me. The build quality and performance is perfect for my specific needs. The size and portability is another selling point, and I wouldnât hesitate to buy another one if needed.

I am really pleased with this mini PC. I bought 3 for myself and 4 for my church (where I am the IT support person) to replace aging Windows 10 computers. I am delighted with price, the speed and the capacity of these devices and with their tiny form factor.

Great Hardware, but sorry OS
UPDATE: Blue Iris runs fine on this box. I have 12 cameras and the CPU% never exceeds 10% even with AI turned on. One bad thing that ruins everything is that there is no way to get it to turn back on after a power loss. I looked in BIOS, but there is nothing there. I have a UPS, but it only goes about an hour and today we had a power outage lasting 62 minutes. So I had to drive all the way back just to push the power button. BeeLink should be ashamed of themselves for that one.I have also installed GPT4ALL which is an offline chatGPT program. It works, but it is a bit slow. For GPT, the 16GB RAM is a bit small and 43GB would be better.==========The box came today and I haven’t fully tested it. What I have seen of it says that it is a fast box. No problem playing youtube videos at 1080P in full screen. The biggest flaw is that it comes with Windows 11. Upon starting the box for the first time, it stops during the setup and says to enter your Microsoft Account. I don’t have one and if I did, I wouldn’t give them the password. It no longer has a SKIP button so you can’t easily bypass it. Fortunately I found out that you can pull the power cord, then network cord and then plug it back in. This time, it will squeal for you to give it your wifi password, but I refused. It finally let me in without signing my privacy over to Microsoft. Once there, windows update worked fine. I got the box to see if it would be fast enough to run Blue Iris software. I have not yet tested that. I will write back if that does not work. This will be a Blue Iris box and I wont have to mess with the OS on a regular basis. I would not want to use Win 11 for a desktop OS. The manufacturer allows people to upgrade to Win 10. If I had to use it as a desktop, I would do that or else install MX Linux.

Slow Processor. Video Graphics Pixelated. USB & Bluetooth Dropouts.
The GTi14 Iltra from Beelink is the worst mini PC I’ve owned. The i9-185H processor seems much slower than my 3th gen Intel NUC i7. Video is so badly pixelated that it is unwatchable even with an 8k HDMI cable and current Intel Arc drivers. Both USB and Bluetooth frequently have random drop outs. I have reinstalled Windows 11 Pro with all updates and have updated all the Intel drivers, but that did not fix any of the problems. There are no drivers for this product on the Beelink website. The problems occur before installing any other software, so the problems are not due to a software conflict. This is the worst mini PC I’ve owned and I will never buy any Beelink again. (BTW, I have multiple i7 mini PCs, and they all work fine and better than the Beelink GTi14 Ultra i9-185H.)

Good basic machine
A few disk management issues and various parsing errors was resolved with a Windows reinstall. After all that and updating, I was able to clone the drive to a larger SSD. Documentation is severely lacking-there is none. The only instructions included were regarding WOL and correctly inserting memory. As far as performance, it does handles the few things I have done with it without issue or complaint. The fan is barely audible and running 2 LG ultra wide screens was simply plug and play. (I have not been able to find a ‘name brand’ PC under $1k with dual HDMI outs.) WiFi works, ethernet worked the one time I needed it, Bluetooth is a bit weak (for earphones, mouse works fine), headphone jack works- hardware seems solid. The mini PC is mounted to the back of one of the monitors to stay out of the way, with a USB hub accessible for external storage and my favorite keyboard. No bloatware or or other fluff. So far, I would recommend for basic computing needs. I have not done any gaming on it (not my intended use).

Antes habÃa comprado el modelo SE12Pro con un procesador Intel Alder Lake-N100 pero trabaja lento y se calentaba, termine por regresarlo e invertirle mas dinero pero que trabajará bien. Asà fue que adquirà este modelo SEi12 con procesador Intel 12ª generación i5-1235U y que ¡Diferencia! Trabajo muy bien desde casa, no se calienta, no hace ruido y hasta ahorita (un mes) trabaja como nuevo. Tengo instalado el Microsoft 365, Edge, Brave, programas de desarrollo y lo uso básicamente para trabajos de Oficina, todo muy bien y 100% recomendado.

It’s SO tiny! Also very quiet. Hooked it up to a 4K tv and have had no problems watching video via Plex. The only streaming issues come from internet speed, not the computer. 4K video files saved to the computer hard drive play smoothly. Also good for web browsing, youtube, etc. No video problems. I wouldn’t expect to run serious software on it, but it’s a lot better than using ‘smart TV’ features. Wireless keyboard and mouse make it easy to operate from the couch.

I bought this to run a Windows setup for testing as I’m usually a Mac user. Very happy with the purchase as it does everything it should, and very quickly at that. I can’t speak to gaming but for everything else I would highly recommend it. I can’t imagine buying a full size PC when these are available. They are so quiet and unobtrusive yet pack a punch.And… its been something like 20 years since I’ve used Windows. I must say, its come a long way and is pretty intuitive and functional nowadays.
