Great headphones with good isolation
These are very accurate for mixing, tracking, etc. Very comfortable even after a long time. Great natural noise isolation.

You should buy these, but only one complaint
Between comfort and sound quality, Iâm extremely happy with these. Also, a huge plus, the pads are easy to remove and replace if needed, and replacements are cheap. Only downside is the cord is not replaceableâ¦so donât damage it.Side note: they donât have the strongest base Iâve ever heard, but they trade that for excellent overall sound quality. And the base is still pretty good so itâs not a bad trade off.All in all, you wonât be disappointed.

Best bang for your buck by a longshot
Thereâs a reason why you see these everywhere in recording studios. Crystal clear sound, great build quality, comfortable to wear. If youâre thinking about buying them, just do it.

Great for bass players!
I bought these since I play bass and live in a multi unit apartment, so I canât turn up my amp often. The sound quality on these are incredible, very happy with them at this value. My roommate has used these for his electric and he also loved them.

Good luck finding better studio headphones for the price.
Much better than Beats. Which I found out are more about their marketing. These are studio headphones. Sit on your head, not on your ears. (unless you’re an elephant) very good at blocking out sound. Felt ear cushions instead of Pleather. Closed back design. Long cord. Mini to 1/4″ plug adapter. Need a good amount of signal to drive these. Not really meant for phone or laptop listening. Great for clarity, recording, voice level. You’re not gonna find a better headphone in comparison for the price.

If youâre looking for good bass content, Get the DT 990s
Get the DT 990s for mixing and just plain listening. The DT 770s 80 ohm are shrill sounding compared to the 990s. I will be using the 770s for recording vocals because theyâre closed back. The 990s are unusual for recording vocals, too much sound gets into the microphone. Also, just to let you know, my 990s are 250 ohm and there is absolutely no problem listening to things on an iPhone or whatever. There are plenty loud enough.

The first time you put these on, combined with your hi res streaming service, you realize there’s much more than you think it was in the songs you always listened to. The quality of the sound is really impressive, and they are so comfortable I can use them for hours. It’s a real pleasure to listen to music with these things.I hate the cable though. I’m thinking of using it to tie stuff to the roof rack of my car or walk my dog with it. Thing is too long. Eventually I will retrofit it with a shorter, tangle-free cable.I’m very satisfied with this purchase.

A set of headphones that fit comfortably over my ears after trying and buying seven different headphones. And they sound great.
