5/5 for me! Read before you buy
If you want an e-ink color reader, with a 7 inch screen that holds charge for at least a day with heavy usage, this could be for you.The good: Android based, I personally use hoopla, pressreader, nytimes that are free with my library subscription.The bad: the writing experience is not that seamless. The pen keeps disconnecting, and you will need to click one button to reconnect.Ugly: Rather slow, hope they release a premium one with latest android, more RAM.I know its a personal perference, I use my personal smartphone for audio-video, I use my kindle scribe for writing and making notes, and I use this bigme 7 for pressreader, nytimes, and hoopla reading. Nothing more. And a day of battery is enough for me. So based on price and size , its 5 out of 5 star for me.

Good Device – Color Is Not Worth It
This device packs a lot of features in a package smaller than an Oasis (by weight and volume) but with the same screen size. It comes with so much more than the Oasis which is the closest “Amazon” device rival, that I thought I would give it a go. I was hoping for some useful color, but I think the technology for e-ink color just isn’t where I would like it to be (yet). In addition, because the device supports color, I think the screen is a bit darker than other non-color devices. For me this difference is very stark and so I am submitting the pictures for others to see. Because the screen really needs a backlight to be able to read even black and white this means the battery will deplete faster than another non-color device. For this reason, and because the color just isn’t that great, I will be returning this device.Please forgive me for comparing the e-ink color to an LCD device – I know this is not fair but I thought people might want to see it.In addition I am comparing my old Kindle Paperwhite (2013) and the latest version of Oasis, and the Boox Palma all set with no backlight (and then with #7 backlight) to show the differences in brightness of screens. Again, this is not entirely fair to this device given the color e-ink ability. I just thought it might help others to be prepared, and to understand what they are getting.Some of the features you get with this device include the ability to read many different formats of books, this is fantastic, but the resolution is not great if you want to see color on any product. This is basically a small tablet with Android 11 and the ability to load any apps from the Google Play store. This device has so many more capabilities than just an e-reader.I did test the stylus and writing with it was a little bit less satisfying than with a Wacom pen.I also watched a YouTube video and it was just ok, given the color ink limitations.I tried various screen settings to see the best images I could get but really it just wasnât that great. Because I intend to use this to replace my old Kindle Paperwhite and I wanted something in the Oasis format, this is just darker than I would like. However, I am interesting in trying the B751 black and white version as I suspect the screen is brighter and it will work sufficiently for my intended purposes without color.

Poor implementation on OS. Color are lackluster, and texts are not clear
I’ve purchased this device because it’s relatively close to 6 inch form factor and it’s octa core and it’s color. Well, it’s really doesn’t satisfy any of the functions and overall it’s very mediocre device. Foremost, OS is horrible compared to boox ereader. It’s chinese character intervention is pronounced, and it’s not very easy to customized. Color is understandable but overall text quality is even worse much cheaper device. I’ve tried to return to bigme but they ask me to ship it back to them with my own expense and they are charging 15% restocking fee. It’s also hard to get a hold of them and not really freindly in customer service.Update: They initially asked me for shipping and restocking fee, but customer rep responded and decided to offer free return shipping without restocking fee. I’ve reevaluate the review to add one star due to the responsiveness of the customer service.

The color is practically non existent. The software is unusable and the screen is far too grainy. I had to return it quickly it was completely unusable.

I want to love it!!
it does so many of the things that I need it to, and yet it still doesnât quite get there. I compared it with boox go color 7 and the screen on the bigme is much darker. I wanted to be able to write on this this thing, but not for the darkening.The cover and stylus are not worth $80. I wish that I had gotten the one without those items and bought the stylus separately. If I could return just those I would.I was pleased with how well the writing worked after reading some initial negative reviews.That said, I have some really annoying issues:1) installed the Google accessibility suite, but don’t see text to speech useable.2) When registering the google account in settings, the device made me set a password at 6 numbers. this doesnât seem to be able to be turned on or off. When I turn on device password in setrings, I have to use two passwords to get on/off. So frustrating and can’t turn off.3) chatgpt login for the app always fails. This seems to be a very prevalent issue with no clear solution.So Iâve had the device for less than 36 hours, and have found three really big problems and donât have anyone to help remedy this.if I canât get all three of these problem solved, I will likely be returning. Will update with more information.

everything is available on this small device
This is my first e-book, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I’m absolutely pleased!I like that itâs in color, and the book list looks nice with the covers, and I like the quick response to gestures, buttons and actions on the screen (Iâm not comparing it to smartphones or tablets, these are completely different technologies).I probably would have liked a more powerful battery, but it doesnât bother me, with the backlight and Wi-Fi turned off, I was able to read 5 books of approximately 300 pages each on one charge, and thatâs more than enough for me.Notes, browser, audiobooks, e-books of any format – everything is available on this small device.Type-C, case, and stylus are good additions for this price.

Si buscas trabajar durante horas sin lastimarte los ojos o tener esa fatiga ocular, este es ka mnejor opción en un tamaño compacto que sirve para tomar notas y leer pdf, kindle, kobo y demas libros electronicos, la tecnologia es diferente a una pantalla tradiconal pero la vas a amar si lees mucho y con la opcion de android instalas cualquier app, incluso uso una de dibijo para bocetear, es algo lenta y nada responsibla pero sabes que sera al final fiel.

Tiene Android y pantalla a color, es muy personalizable y puedes tener las aplicaciones que necesites, es un dispositivo de tinta electrónica por lo que es ideal para lectura y no tanto para videos etc. El único pero que le he encontrado es la baterÃa, se descarga muy rápido

Hola, buscaba un lector que fuera también tableta y ésta lo es pero la pantalla hay que actualizarla seguido porque se llena de restos de imágenes y ahora se actualizó y dejó de funcionar la tienda de programas (play store) que porque no está autorizada a tenerla entonces ya no es fácil instalar programas.
