Lol, great if you’re actually interested.
This must be the second most hilarious phone I’ve ever bought. But seriously for a moment it’s not bad at all for the price. Know this is a under average phone, and is by no means advanced. Camera quality is old, but functional and usable. Flashlight is bright. One thing that’s funny is that the battery is literally heavier than the phone. Battery life is great. I bought this for my dad because he’s unable to learn how to use a smartphone. I’ll try to make a clip of it if I get around to it maybe during my Christmas vacation (2023). It’s mostly a cheap plastic, but durable enough to bend and withstand a little careless use which is why i bought it.

BE AWARE if you are considering the BLU JOY – 2.4″, Factory Unlocked Phone.
This is a beautiful cell phone ideally designed for seniors, and those whose hands are physically deformed or who are visually impaired.I purchased this phone, and after several weeks working with BLU Products technical support and my cell carrier support, this phone could not be made to work with my cell phone carrier. My cell phoneâs carrier requested the IMEI number found inside this cell phone. They were determined that this phone is a 2G phone, and cannot connect to any cellular network in the United States because the 2G network has been shut down. This obviously makes this device usless as a functioning cell phone.I relayed this information to BLU Products support, but I did not receive a reply.

Perfect senior phone
This phone has a nice wide button display, and a great camera. The screen is a nice size also. Work’s very well with speedtalk phone Sim card. Cheapest phone plan at $5.00 a month. Max

No service
I like the phone. Easy to use and love the flash light, you need a memory card to store pictures. Camera sucks but that is normal. Great size. One hand operation. Battery lasts a long time. Only thing that is frustrating is I bought simple mobile and they don’t accept this phone since they are upgrading there service. Not many carrier options anymore. Takes standard size Sim card. Straight talk doesn’t work either. This phone isn’t compatible with any network!!!! Returning

No speaker function
We bought this phone for an elderly gentleman to make and receive calls. We liked the phoneâs simplicity and its touchpad. Unfortunately, the volume is not loud enough for him to hear and it doesnât have a speaker function.

The original description of this phone was very misleading.I
When I first looked at this phone the description said it was T-Mobile compatible. When I took to the T-Mobile store and had the SIM card switch over, the phone didn’t work. When I went back and looked at the description for the phone, it had completely changed and there was no mention of it being T-Mobile compatible.

The reception is good its clear
This would be an OK phone for a slightly blind person with a little bit of tech suave ability, but as for the large buttons that is for sure, they are large but the screen is ridiculously small so regardless if the numbers are big they cant tell if they typed the wrong numbers. The reception is good its clear, the lock screen button is on the side of the phone and this being presented as an elderly phone which most are not tech suave wont figure out what they locked and how to get it unlocked. I got this for my dad who is legally blind, not an ounce of tech in his blood. he can see what numbers he pushed button wise as for the screen……for the life of him couldn’t read the screen. I give this a 2 star as the add is misleading. They dont dimension the size so for those of you who want to know what to compare it to in the way of size, think of a laptop hard drive but a little thicker. When i handed it to my dad he thought it was a pocket calculator that the bank gives out as a gift. Mind you my dad has some big mittens (ring finger size 14) Not being negative just a good review for those looking for an answer to a “jidderBug” type phone for the elderly. The best feature on this is a “911” button that can be setup to call police, fire, or a person. What i finally did was by a 5.5″ display smartphone (Kata C2 $84) put it in kid mode so nothing can be deleted or moved, created his background all black, on my PC in adobe created numbers with color coding (say number 1 with a yellow back ground is my mom) then saved to google drive then just went and downloaded to his phone, When i created his contacts i added a image to each contact using the numbers i created. Starting on the home screen i created a “widget” quick dial for each contact, for example #1 with yellow back ground he knows hes dialing my mom all he has to do is just push that button and when she calls the caller id is the BIG #1 with the yellow background he knows its my mom and he slides the big green dot to the right, best elderly solution, as jidderbug is a ripoff…….if you need help figuring something out like this im making a video when im done ill post an update so you can view it.Yes if he had a little more vision and smaller hands this would work, or even just a little more vision….Pro: Dad loved the flash light idea, the buttons were readable, sound was clear and crisp and the SOS (911) button.CONS: To small of screen, buttons on the side are in a bad location (poor design) …… really a deal breaker for my dad

No instruction manual sent, Very bad.
I was advised to purchase this specific phone by a T Mobile supervisor in Washington who was trying to get me NOT to leave T MObile. I had been searching for a very simple flip or brick style phone for my 85 year old parents. This BLU phone arrived with a lot of good press but NO INTRUCTION MANUAL. There was NOTHING online and I searched extensively, even going to the company website. No user manual existed anywhere for this phone. My poor elderly parents got so frustrated with the phone and the speaker, which was advertised as “hearing aid compatible” and oversized for seniors did not perform as promised. They could not hear well on it and between the 3 of us, we never located the speaker function, which would have at least allowed them to hear better. The phone indeed linked perfectly to T Mobile and it LOOKED good. However, it’s ridiculous to sell any kind of electronic device without a user’s manual. Even though the customer service folks at T MObile almost laugh at you if you ask about a flip phone, I’d like to say, for the record, that the elderly population in this country is huge and my parents are not unique. A smart phone is not what many folks want. And for manufacturers, as well as cell phone companies, to offer little or no decent products for these folks is simply bad business.
