Nice Headphones, Few Minor Annoyances
The super long battery life drew me to these Hurkeye Bluetooth headphones. Rated at 100+ hours, they have far more battery life than any other Bluetooth headphones I own. Iâm using them with my iPad to watch videos either while working out (elliptical, treadmill, or rower) or while relaxing.I find the sound quality to be decent but not exceptional in any way. I expected the bass to be more pronounced than it is but I would venture to say its typical of the small drivers associated with ear buds. Iâm satisfied for my uses but donât find it to be anything to brag about. The general audio is clear and I can clearly distinguish voice tracks and background effects in music and videos.Note, I am not an audiophile and am satisfied for what I wanted. I expect more discerning folks might want to check into an over-the-ears set of headphones where much larger drivers will fit. If it werenât for the working out aspect of how Iâm using them, I would have gone that route myself.Iâve found four things that I donât care for on these headphones. First, the charging port cover does not stay in place. Iâve fiddled with it a bit but it always seems to work itself loose as Iâm wearing the headphones. Having it come off worries me from the perspective of sweat getting into the charging port while working out and ruining the headphones.Second, the iPad reports 100% battery when the headphones are not at 100%. In the picture I attached, it shows 100% when the headphones were showing 3 out of 4 light indicators. I do not know why thereâs a discrepancy.Third, the headphones will not charge on the USB-C cable I use with my iPad and itâs USB-C charger. I do not know why but I have to use the short 12â USB-A (charge block end) to USB-C (headphones end) cable that came with the headphones and dig out an older USB-A charger. I find it frustrating to have yet another cable to keep up with when itâs the same USB-C port on the device. It doesnât make sense to me at all.Fourth, as Iâm wearing the headphones the ear bud cables will rub against my beard at times. When no music or sound is playing, the scratching sound comes through the ear buds. I do not notice this while music/sound is playing, though. Itâs only when Iâm getting set up to work out and havenât started a video yet. I really donât think this is the fault of these particular headphones and think this problem is likely true with any wired headphones (these are wired from the ear bud to the neck piece with the battery). Iâve taken to wrapping the wire around the neck piece so itâs coming from the outside of the neck piece instead of the inside. This gets it away from my face so I donât hear that scratching noise.Overall, the headphones are just fine for how I want to use them. Iâm happy with them. The battery life is what drew me to them and I do enjoy not having to charge frequently.

Hurkeye Bluetooth Headphones Neckbands are awesome. I have had the headphones for about a month now and have only charged them two times and they still have 60% battery left. I use them every day for about 12 hours plus. They are great for blocking out noise. I only use them for watching TV and listening to my books.They pair up very easily on their own. They will pair to at least two devices at the same time but I always disconnect the second device. The second device disconnects all on its own over and over every time that is one of the reasons I disconnect them every time. This is no big deal for me as I don’t want them connected to two devices at the same time anyway.The charging port door will not stay closed no matter how many times you close it. But then again I can and do deal with it. No problem for me. Just thought I would mention it in case it would be a hassle for others.I can’t report how long it takes to charge the headphones as I have been lucky enough to only have to charge them when I am sleeping so far.It is very easy to learn how to use the headphones. There is a power button, a pause button, a button to switch between game mode and music mode, and a volume button for up and down. There is a battery indicator light, there are four lights letting you know how much power the headphones have. It lets you know when your headphones are charged. The light flashes letting you know how charged the headphones are.They come with a little bag to store the headphones in. There is a charging cable.When I read that the headphones would stay charged for a hundred hours I was very skeptical that there was any truth in that statement but I am here to tell you that it is very true.I would highly recommend Hurkeye Bluetooth Headphones Neckband.

These earphones work great. They are very sturdy and the sound is clear when on the phone. Battery life is very good

This head set gives a crisp music sound. But most importantly it has an ecellent battery capacity. Their claim of 100 hours of play in charge cycle seems to be correct. In almost two months of use, I have only charged this headset only twice. Workmanship is good too. The headsets that I used before would give a playback of only few hours.
