Mostly great
I love that these chargers (a) keep working even after a few weeks, unlike many others I’ve bought and (b) take up less space in a pocket or backpack. The only downside is you don’t really get 6 feet of length, because as soon as you stretch the coil more than a little, the tension starts pulling everything back, so if you set the charger or phone down, they immediately start sliding toward each other. Not perfect, but overall very useful.

I use my phone in my car all the time. Having a curly cord means that I can have a longer cord in a much shorter space. Itâs out of the way, and I donât accidentally suck it up with the vacuum cleaner when Iâm washing my car. So this is the car cord, I have a spare, and I donât care what kind of cord it is itâll probably last me 6 to 8 months and then Iâll use the second one.For me, the thing they always talk about with cord breakage is that the head of the cord is bent so often that it disconnects from the charger part. Iâve owned it iPhone for about 10 or 12 years, that has never happened to me. What always happens to me is After so many times of putting it in and taking it out, itâs like the actual charger part doesnât engage with the phone anymore. Like itâs worn thin. And then almost always happens between six and eight months. I canât imagine why this would be different.

Works as intended…mostly.
I needed an Apple “certified” cable that is approx. one foot in length to connect my I-phone to a motorcycle app that has Apple Carplay on it. It says I need an Apple supplied cable. So…I did what most people do…search for an Apple certified cable, since the one that came with the phone is too long. Found this cable that is “Apple certified”. Wrong. This cable does everything a lightning cable will do…except Carplay. Will not work. As soon as I replaced this cable with the three foot long cable that came with my I-phone, Carplay immediately worked. Remove the cable and replace with this one…nothing. Replaced with another non-Apple supplied lightning cable…nothing. Again, back to the Apple three foot lightning cable…it worked. I assume there is a data connection in the Apple cable that they do not allow other manufacturers to have. Other than this issue – this cable is excellent, the coil keeps things tidy, and it charges the phone perfectly. I removed one star only due to the Carplay issue.

Update 3/30/2024Shortly after both cables stopped working I did contact them via Facebook messenger. They responded back within 2-3h. They stood by their 2 year warranty and offered a replacement or full refund. I opted for a full refund, which was credited to my account that day. Unlike other online companies, they responded promptly to my messages (usually within a few hours, definitely within 24h). Iâm guessing I just unfortunately got duds.Iâve had these cables since Nov 5 2023. The first cable stopped working after 2 months. I noticed that after I extended the cable to lift up my phone a few times, it no longer would connect to Apple Play. Didnât think too much about it as 2 cables came in a pack. However, now the second cable after 2 months is also starting to play up. If you lift phone to move it and/or look at screen, it disconnects. Itâs suppose to have a 1 year warranty but the QR Code will only work if I download Messenger App to my phone! Long story short, lasted 4 months.

Works Well, Connections are Tight, Bouncy Coil
This wire is nicely made, it is thick and feels really sturdy. Both connections are really tight and are not slipping out of their adapters. The coil itself is great for the car as it limits tangles and there is less space so this wire makes it appear much cleaner. The coil can make it a little difficult if a passenger is using the wire and trying to also use their phone as the tension is constantly pulling your phone back to the charging port.It does provide an average level of charge, not as good as a fast charger, but you can definitely expect to get plenty of charge during your car trip. This wire is black, with red ends tips.

Living in a household that has 5 people, each with two or more devices, charging cables are everywhere. Most of the ones received with the device last for about 3 or 4 years of constant use, but since they are straight adaptors, the plastic housing tends to bend and break.These new cables have a solid right angle, so are the most practical for when the device needs to be in a vertical manor, have very little cable strain when used in a horizontal manor, plus they fit into many hand-made or non-brand name charger/device holders just as good, if not better than the straight ones.Overall, excellent items for a very reasonable price.
