Leather jacket for your phone
The leather on this case is thick and beautiful! I didn’t need the ability to carry cards or ID with my phone, but its there if I want to use it. Though it could be useful for carrying extra business cards. The actual case you insert your phone into feels like it has good drop protection without the surrounding folio, and the leather material on the back is as nice as the outer case. It attaches magnetically to the folio portion of the case and it has good grip, doubt it will ever drop out by accident. And, you can use the case with or without the folio cover, so essentially you are getting TWO cases in one. I hesitated because I’ve never spent this much on a phone case, but after a girl at work damaged the screen saver rummaging around in the drawer I left it in, I decided I needed better protection. Hell, I don’t have a TV that costs as much as my iPhone. This case with folio attached, wraps around nicely, so it should protect much better. Really nice construction, feels good in your hand, looks great.

Actually is what it claims to be
The seller claims this product is really leather and for the very first time, the case I ordered and what I received are the same thing – Hardiston’s “genuine leather” is for real and I could not be happier! It is so obviously high quality, very well made and just a sumptuous, gorgeous case to set off my iphone.I ordered the tan leather and used Passier lederbalsam (from Amazon) to protect the finish, just rub in, let set, then wipe off excess with a soft cloth and it is beautiful.

Needs an upgrade.
I have had 4 of these Leather iPhone wallet cases and the design is getting tired. First off, the case has three holes in the top of it where the phone speaker is but I have never held the phone up to my ear with the phone fully cased in the wallet. Holes are obsolete with the detachable phone from the wallet. Second, the fold in the case presumably to be a stand is also non-functional. It only makes the wallet floppy when detaching and attaching the phone. Should just be solid. Third and my biggest complaint is the lining. The lining is not leather so over time it frays. Initially on the closure tab and then all around the case the lining separates from the leather making it look ragged and fake. A leather liner is preferred.

I do really like this case!
I had been using a different phone wallet and initially wasn’t excited about the difference of this one, but I adjusted and I do really like this one. Actually better than the old one because this one holds all my cards.
