Itâs been a year and kiddo still loves this toy!
My son loves this toy and I love that itâs mess free! I also like that there a mode just for lights and not for lights and music because the music in my opinion is too loud and it always freaks my kid out.
Nephew (2) LOVES it! He is a bit of a Laurie Berkner fan. We Are The Dinosaurs is one of his favorite songs and he loves books. He wants me to read it to him almost every night. –

I love the size, itâs great for travel! My one year old is able to use the gel side very easily. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a mess free or low mess option. I chose this product because of its versatility for a range of ages and also I wanted something that didnât require batteries, this has so far been a fun quiet time activity for the both of us to play with together.

Great idea poorly made
This is a really cool idea and looked so fun. Once I got it I learned that the battery compartment is made cheaply. You add your batteries and turn it over and the batteries come loose losing connection. No matter how tight I put the cover on, I ended up having to secure the batteries in there with tape. Not the safest option but itâs at least working now. It does work as pictured moving the gel around to make pictures so that is nice. Without the light on you can still see what youâre drawing. I just feel if they advertise the lights and sounds it should be functional even though it does work without them. I didnât expect the height of quality from crayola but this was a bit of a let down.
