No issues, better performance
I used Crucial’s “find my memory” program to select an upgrade on my workstation. The installed was 16g / Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6400 CPU @ 2.70GHz 2.71 GHz.It ends up with lots of applications open at once, I was using virtually all my PC memory, around 98% at any given time, would often lag on me when I needed it.Upgraded to 64gig, because it was super cheap, now it runs super smooth, this is 7 y/o PC and with a SSD and 64gig memory it’s extended it’s life well past it’s days.If you’re on the fence about it, it’s super easy to install, just don’t force anything and make sure you spray air it out, do the entire PC because it will run slightly warmer and you don’t wanna find a weak link.

The System Won’t Crash Like Society With This Memory Upgrade
Let me tell you about memory â not the kind they try to erase with consumer programming, but the kind that keeps your home media server running smooth like a well-oiled fight club. This 8GB stick of Crucial DDR4? It’s the bare-knuckle basics of what you need.2666 MT/s might not sound impressive to all you RGB-addicted tech slaves out there, but for a media server, it’s like having just enough muscle to get the job done without the flashy show. No heat spreaders, no fancy lights â just raw, functional power.Single channel, 288 pins of pure utility. It’s what RAM would look like if it stopped trying to impress the neighbors. Slotted into my Plex server, it handles transcoding and streaming my legally owned media collection around my house like it’s been doing it since before you knew what streaming meant.5 stars. Because sometimes the best hardware is the kind that just works, without trying to sell you on being part of the premium hardware elite.

Crucial RAM 8GB DDR4 2666 MHz works great in Dell 3670 Desktop
The Crucial RAM 8GB DDR4 2666 MHz CL19 Desktop Memory CT8G4DFRA266 was purchased to be compatible with the 8 GB RAM already installed on my Dell 3670 PC. It was installed successfully and found to be fully compatible. This upgrade could have gone more smoothly if the new card was fully engaged during its initial installation. The first installation resulted in the PCâs power button light flashing 2 then 7 orange lights repeatedly. Dell 3670 Userâs Manual signifies this as a âRAM FAILUREâ. Upon a closer examination of the installation, it was noticed that one of the hold-down clamps securing the new card (in slot #2) was not quite fully closed. To address this, the card was removed and then re-installed to ensure complete closer of both clamps. That resolved the issue. View photos to see how just a little lack of clamp closer can result in an unacceptable installation.

Easy installation…but wait to hear the “click”
Bought Crucial RAM 32GB Kit (2x16GB) DDR4 2400 MHz. Installed it today. First attempt didn’t go well as the PC would not boot. Unplugged everything, removed the memory and re-installed…this time ensuring I heard the “click” when seating the memory. Turned the PC back on it everything worked great…just a LOT faster. Couldn’t be happier. The first attempt I was afraid of pushing too hard to hear the click so I manually pulled up the clips to hold the memory in place. That didn’t work. Once I reinstalled and pushed enough to hear the click…I was off an running!

Works good for a cheap an easy upgrade for any gaming pc
Bought to upgrade my HP gaming Pavillion desktop tg01 0028 from 8 gig to 16 gig. The memory card itself is slightly different then the factory 8 gb ram card and it doesn’t have the greatest click which was off putting for me as someone who is just getting into computers, as I didn’t want to break anything but as long as you have the card lined up just put even pressure until the tabs lock and you are good to go, the results are nice much smoother game play, along with staying around 50% of use on large games and even better no issues with the using this with the factory 8 bit card

DELL 5675 Inspiron Gaming Desktop
Just received this 16GB stick today, popped it in and it started right up and so i proceeded to run some tests… I know many people with the 5675 Inspiron Gaming Desktop have had problems with getting the memory to run at its rated speed of 2400Mhz. The system comes with only 1 stick of ram so it can’t run in duel channel mode until you add another stick so I bought this second 16GB module and now it runs at exactly 2400Mhz. It’s blazing fast now. I don’t need 32 GB’s of ram but I wanted the performance boost of duel channel so I splurged and bought another stick. It’s very easy to install and very little force is needed to seat the ram properly so don’t force it. The CAS latency is quite nice 17 across the board quite snappy. I attached a photo of the results. This along with the NVME M.2 PCIe card I installed makes the a system quite a powerhouse at a very reasonable price. 950USD at Best Buy, system specs as follows Ryzen 7 1700, 32GB 2400Mhz ram, 128GB Samsung NVME M.2 PCIe, 1TB 7200 HHD, Rx 580 video card. This comp plays everything now on ultra settings from Wither 3 to PUBG and Battlefield 4… I plan on upgrading the video card to a GTX 1080 and another SSD in the near future. This computer blows away my 5 year old 4k dollar system! Crucial makes some high grade memory as well. I opted for this one over the Kingston as it had more high rated reviews and I’m not disappointed. Do yourself a favor and go for it!

Buy only Name Brand
Make sure when you buy any type of flash memory off the internet that your purchase a reputable name brand product. There are so many dupes and fakes out there you must be sure that you read the reviews and never buy memory that has a ‘too good to be true’ price. Crucial is a great brand, and the ram is working wonderfully.

Just installed the Ram chip of 8GB today. Excellent results. Crucial board with Micron chip set. Installed 8GB in a Dell Inspiron 3670 that had existing 8GB from Dell manufacturing. The unit has an i3 8100. Basic chip but the 3670 can take 32GB of ram. Not a gamer so I will never need this. The task manager results show I now have 11GB available. Prior to the ram increase TM displayed only 3GB available. I did make an error on install and did not seat the ram chip all the way down this caused the amber power flashing light on the power button to blink. Grabbed a flashlight to inspect and found that the locks on either side had closed but the board still required an extra press in. Then the notches on the board ends were completely seated in the slot and no issues. Excellent buy this week as price is down to 36 bucks wow what a deal.
Over Top. I recommend without hesitation. It really a good thing and it cost not a lot. Ok there s better than this but you have also to put 10 times more money. Really this is OK, I was an ex paracommando so know the material and is good. –
