Extremely Versatile and Reliable Variable Power Supply
I was in need of a versatile variable power supply to power an electrolysis setup as well as a PEM electrolizer and be able to test a few other components independently. This chunky power supply is perfect for me.At my university, I would use supplies like this constantly so it was immediately familiar. I absolutely love that the levels are controlled by dials. I have another variable power supply, but it tries to be cute in a smaller footprint with buttons and an interface, but it tends to be counterproductive, especially since the investment steps are small.This is a larger power supply by today’s standards, but I gladly found the room for a reliable and idiot-proof power supply. I definitely recommend this power supply, as long as you have the clips and connectors you need.

This is a great tool for any tinkering hobbyist. The voltage adjustment is precise enough to simulate automotive and And telecom systems for work at home. It’s easily adjustable to the 100th and the current limit is easy enough to use.

Pretty Good, needs better test leads, button a tad cheap feeling
This is a pretty good variable power supply. It has a fuse and short circuit protection, which are both huge in my mind. It works well. It does lack the ability to produce a wave for testing certain things, like 3/4 wire fans, although I’m not sure such a variable PSU exists, or at least not for a lot of money. My only two complaints are it only comes with one set of test leads and they’re not very good alligator clips, and that the power button feels a tad cheap, which worries me about it’s longevity, but it could last forever, so who knows. Overall, I can recommend it.

Perfect addition to a workbench
This adjustable DC power supply is great. It’s compact and fits well on my already crowded repair bench. I like the fact that it has USB plugs in addition to the +/- screw terminals. It is silent and makes no noise at all. I was able to hook up a car stereo system on my bench for testing and power it with this. It seemed accurate when I tested it with my multimeter and it stayed within the parameters I set on it with no issues. My plan was to use it as a power source for electroplating and I have no doubts it would work for that, but I find myself using it for so much, I might need to grab a second one for that! This is a great buy and I would certainly recommend it if you don’t have an adjustable DC power supply or even if you just need a second one.
