I was amazed at how demanding that program is for processing power
My church purchased this desktop after discovering that the laptop we previously purchased to use for the EasyWorship program didn’t have a powerful enough processor to allow for the program to run smoothly and efficiently. I was amazed at how demanding that program is for processing power! This desktop is simple, powerful, and simply powerful. The processor and RAM are on par with gaming computers that cost three to four times as much, and since it’s a desktop it also has space for some upgrades, so you could save money by purchasing this and then investing in a better video card, upgrading the RAM to DDR4, and swapping out for an SSD.For our church, however, this computer has been perfect right out of the box to meet our needs. Setup was easy – Windows 10 was already installed and there was very little bloatware, which is always a plus. In fact, the only real bloatware I recall seeing was a pre-installed McAfee trial. The computer boots up pretty quickly and lets you get to business without a lot of hassle.

Decent desktops. They are quick and the price is decent. I have had no issues with it and it was a good purchase. I with there was a couple more RAM slots and there is not a ton of room on the power supply for bigger video, but it really has a place for a productivity workstation. At this price point, you can just replace every 2-3 years instead of trying to upgrade.

I called Dell to find out why the MS Office Trial wasn’t working and found out it was already 92 days old. Doesn’t make sense since I bought it 2/5/16 and received it, plugged it in on 2/11/16. So far no response from the seller. Here it is 10/5/16 with no response from Amazon, except a “Thank you feedback email” and no response from the seller, I now have a desktop computer that is not working. Do I call Dell, the seller or Amazon? Not sure of the direction to go. The computer was set up without a password and now it will not continue to the desktop until I put in a password. So what’s a customer to do when we have this kind of problem????

Bad Network interface card. Had to pay return shipping costs.
I received the Dell on Nov 19 and immediately started loading Updates after startup. This is where the problems started. I have a 58 Mbps Internet connection and downloads are usually very, very fast. I took 2-3 hours to download the first file, which was a conglomeration of many fixes. The Installation went relatively fast. The next download was Service Pack 1 and that took 3-4 hours.I checked my Network speed at speedtest.net several times and it indicated from 1 Mbps to 10 Mbps and wouldn’t even start a few times. I had my old computer on the table next to it, so I moved the Ethernet cable from the Dell to the old computer and ran Speedtest several times, always indicating 58-59 Mbps. This pretty much told me that the Network card on the Dell was Bad.I filed a return with Amazon and it was approved by the seller, who was Candance Ross, thru Amazon – BUT, I was to pay the return shipping fee, which was $65.00. I thought that was not right, since I bought a new computer, but was sold a DEFECTIVE one. I have learned my lesson to not buy through one of the Amazon partners, because I am sure that Amazon would have paid for the shipping costs to return it.

Great PC for Freelance Marketing Consultant
I’m a freelance marketing consultant who works from 6-10 hours a day on PC including work in Adobe Creative Suite and across multiple websites and Microsoft programs, usually with several open at any one time. I bought this PC to replace my 4 year old HP which was beginning to show it’s age and inability to keep up, speed-wise, with more than just a couple apps open at a time. This PC has more than enough storage even for someone like me with thousands and thousands of graphic files, PDFs, etc. I paired with a 27″ HP LED monitor and could not be happier — excellent working PC and at a great price.

Excellent PC Choice
Purchased this PC about 2 weeks ago, opened it up, set up monitor and fired up computer, no hassles so far, although hard drive did freeze one time on day 2 of operation. So far, very happy with computer, dell has been very reliable for me, have an older Dell T3400 still running. Only thing I should have done was bought the system with 16 gig of ram instead. Wish there were more USB ports (I do have 8) but all are in use.

Like the old one!
This is a replacement for the 5 yr old inspiron I had before. Took some getting used to the Microsoft 10 and Microsoft Edge ( replaces Internet Explorer but can’t say that its any better. I still drop connection frequently and it re-connects, loosing anything that I was downloading in the process). Its fast, but that may have to do with the 30mps internet I have. Probably the most reliable of brands but I still bought a 4 yr extended warranty which was very reasonably priced. (Actually, that’s why I bought this unit from Amazon rather than Sam’s)
