Better than expected
I bought it as a birthday gift for my wife and she loved it. It came package wonderful and very secure. It is fast and easy to use. It’s better than my latop/tablet and I spent over $900.00 on my laptop/table. It’s worth every penny I spent on it.

Awesome linux laptop!
Throw linux mint on it or your favorite distro. Reduced the partition for Windows to mainly run Linux on dual boot. The brand new laptops under $200 are complete garbage. The plastic is so hard it hurts my hands. This model is about 6 years old and works great. Be prepared to get a new battery and possibly a new keyboard. All the replacement batteries suck. They won’t last long. I don’t care because this is usually plugged in somewhere. There is some glare on the screen but I can get a screen protector. Too many fake reviews especially for laptop parts. This model was made for education. All the newer laptops force you into a stupid Windows account. I almost wiped windows but thought I would just leave it on there as a backup. I will be full time with Linux other than work moving forward. Great laptop. Replacement keyboard was under $7. I won’t knock at any stars this meets all of my needs for what it’s going to be used for.

Not Fully Inspected
I am an IPC610-A certified inspector. Right out of the packaging, I put it in its protective case and inspected it. Already, I have found foreign material inside one of the USB ports, as well as a thick layer of dust in all of them. No doubt this was sitting in a tote with the ports facing the ceiling of whatever renewal center it was in.It did not come with a power adapter and it is not charged. I have ordered an adapter. I will charge it and edit this review accordingly.So far, I’m not impressed.

Sturdy and easy. OS still crummy
Nice hardware, bad OS (but windows is still better than Chrome OS). I really hate using Windows, it is ugly, incoherent, unintelligent, error-prone. I HATE MIROSOFT FO THIS IMPOSITION. I want my LINIX back and easy access (coherent) to the EFFI / BIOS, so I may load up as many OS as I may wish to fit on this nice hardware. I detest Windows and Chrome, using these is a torment and a constant insult to my well-being.

A handy back up laptop recommend for travel
Thankfully my son was available to install this Del but he found it easy to work with.We had to purchase an inexpensive adapter to use when loading digital pictures from our digital camera but the attachments works fine. I am not sure how other customers might install this computer but my son was able to transfer nearly 98 percent of my files from another computer into this compact Del laptop, including many of my passwords! Although I did not think the touch screen would impress me, I have grown into really liking it because it is the best way to readjust the screen size. For some mysterious reason, the battery icon on the start ribbon disappeared. Consequently I have to go into settings to find out how much batter life is remaining; but I have at least 5 hours of battery was able to set an alarm when the battery reaches 20 percent. Overall, this compact laptop is a good investment. My son also downloaded the Microsoft office from Amazon. Thank God for sons!

Missing power adapter
It is unfortunate that the power supply was not included with my recently acquired computer. While I understand that this was likely an oversight, it does cause some inconvenience as I am unable to use the computer until I obtain a power supply.
