It was a top decision to buy this laptop.
It has a well installed windows 10. I was happy, as I detected, the Windows has a Windows for Linux Subsystem. With that Subsystem is a well Debian Bookworm installable on the top of the Windows. The accumulator working well. It is possible to reach Microsoft C/C++ free for this version of Windows. The Team of Windows worked well in the last years, I should consider. My original plan, to install a Debian on this system was dropped, as I detected the opportunities of this system. Many THANKs for this laptop!

    Friggin love this laptop!
During the COVID lockdown, my job had us work remotely and gave everyone this laptop to use. The Dell Latitude model is a hardy little machine. It’s fast and works great for basic school and work needs. I’m not sure about how it would hold up for advanced use but if you’re looking for something affordable, efficient, and fast, this laptop does the trick! Also, the battery isn’t the best so I keep the charger handy at all times but for the price, I’m a happy customer.

A strong value when bought as “renewed”
I purchased this laptop used, refurbished by a Microsoft-approved service. There were a few smudges on the bottom of the case, and a few specks of dust inside, but I couldn’t find any marks, scuffs, or damage.Pros:*Runs great. 16GB of DDR4 Ram keeps everything moving along quite nicely.* No apparent damage or signs of use, other than some smudges on the bottom of the case which wiped off easily.* No dust or crumbs stuck in the vents.* Power cord and brick in good condition, but not new-looking.* Light weight.* Feels sturdy enough I believe it will last a long time with good care.* Fan noise was unnoticeable to me, though I only tested when I consider to be low and medium-load games, the most demanding being Valheim on medium settings.* USB C port for the win! This opens up some nice options for docking stations and reduces the need for adapters.* BIG PRO: I didn’t run into any bloatware! If it’s there, it’s unobtrusive. I was able to get things the way I like them very quickly with no struggle. What a relief!Cons:* Screen is mediocre, washes out with even minor viewing-angle changes. Not suggested for watching a movie with a second person. Looks fine once you find the optimum viewing angle, though.* I couldn’t find many display or graphics-related options. Not sure the calibration process did much for me, other than enhancing the readability of text.* Relatively small internal storage may fill up quickly, depending on what you store. You can add storage by inserting a large-capacity SD card.* This is more of a personal gripe, but I’m not a big fan of low-throw keyboards, so I purchased a separate portable keyboard to throw in my carry bag. As an upshot, this will reduce wear on the laptop’s keys, helping to maintain its value, should I choose to sell it later. Conclusion: This laptop was a steal at the deep discount that came along with it being renewed. I often buy renewed electronics for the savings and to reduce tech waste. If you can get a great, 1 year-old Windows laptop for the same price as a low-end Chromebook, why not? I look forward to many hours of sitting in the café, playing Slay the Spire instead of writing my novel. Cheers!

    MISLABELED – NOT 1920 x 1080p
I purchased the Dell Latitude 7480 because it is advertised to have a 1920 x 1080p display (unlike many other models in its price range). I thought I got a great deal on a cheap work laptop, but to my dismay, it only has an inferior 1366 x 768p display. The laptop itself is serviceable, and I have very few complaints about the form or function. It’s a solid little computer that does a good enough job for light travel work. However, I specifically purchased this model for the 1080p resolution. You’re simply not getting what is advertised.

Exactly what I was looking for.
Note: At the time of my review, the price of this computer was $240. It seems to have gone up a little bit since I bought mine.————————I haven’t even finished the OS setup, and I’m already giving this 5 stars all around.I’m going to a professional class in June that is *hugely* important to me and my career, and I just needed something lightweight to take with me for studying and whatnot. The description and the prior reviews for this particular machine already ticked all the proverbial boxes, and now that it’s in my hands, I can see that it wasn’t wasted money at all.The biggest factor for me is the fact that it has a proper 1920×1080 screen, and not one of those other bizzarro resolutions that laptops tend to come in. On a screen this size, the extra pixels matter a lot for viewing documents. The display is sharp, no dead pixels, and the backlighting is nice and even.Even the slightly older i5 processor is pretty grossly overpowered for what I’m going to be using the computer for, but a little extra horsepower never hurts. And 16 gigs of RAM? Yeah, that’s a really nice touch.Storage space isn’t really going to be a concern, so the 256GB drive will be more than plenty. An SSD is an absolute must these days and I’m glad it didn’t come with a platter drive… although at this price point, adding one wouldn’t have been much of a burden either.Other things I like: Backlit keyboard, which also doesn’t feel like it’s made of cheese. Little pointer-control-mousy-bit-thingy on the keyboard. Responsive touch pad. HDMI out. Three standard USB ports as well as a C-micro. Ethernet port. Micro SD card slot. And what looks like maybe a SIM card slot under that? Is that even a thing? At any rate, it’s got an awful lot of external connectivity for such a compact laptop. Very good design. This is a really, really nice little machine. I haven’t even done anything of value with it yet and I’m already extremely impressed.

I highly recommend it and will buy it again!
I received the laptop as it looked brand new, it didn’t even seem to be second hand and the battery was in excellent condition. I am super happy with this product, I highly recommend it and will buy it again when I need it. Thank you to whoever recovered this product.

Looks almost brand new. Some keys on the keyboard don’t work too well but other than that, it’s perfect.

Purchased refurbished with a degree of caution expecting to be a little disappointed but I need not have worried. The laptop arrived ahead of the delivery date in perfect protected packaging along with some help notes if any concerns and a free bag of sweets! The condition of the laptop was sold as excellent and it was.Infact it was near to perfect condition, screen, keyboard, battery (100%) touch pad all as new… only 3 faintest of marks on the underside of the case.Probably to date the best purchase (£ for value) I’ve recieved on amazon. Will definitely be using Compuclear again in the future…. this is how it should be done.
