Powerful Computer at a Bargain Price
I purchased one of these for my home office having learned long ago that consumer grade electronics (Inspiron line for Dell) don’t offer the reliability and longevity I need for business use. I had a bad experience buying directly from Dell 3 years ago when the computer arrived dead out of the box and customer service was a nightmare. I figured a refurbished unit would at least have been tested. The computer is exactly as advertised, works perfectly and is cosmetically indistinguishable from brand new. The cost for the configuration I chose was about $500 (or 1/3) less than the unit would have cost from Dell. I could not be happier with the purchase and would not hesitate to buy from this vendor again.

Not just refurbished
Typically, refurbished means something broke, it was fixed, and sold for a discount. That doesnât exactly apply here. I ran the Dell service Tag, and the original specs are much different from the current. Just a side note, I worked in computer and laptop repair for over a decade, have several certs and was a network engineer. The comp I bought originally had an Intel i7-770k, now it has an i7-7700. Originally had 32gbâs of DDR4 2400mhz, now 16gbâs of mixed 2400 and 2666 but this i7 only supports up to 2400, so itâs not a great match. This comp came with an nvidia Quadro video card from the factory, but not as refurbished. Finally, I ran a smart test on the SSD, and it already had media ware putting it at 92% health. Iâve already upgraded the cpu to an m.2 and got a gtx1650. Now I guess I should upgrade the ram too. Still a good value, but upgrades needed to make decent for my teen childrenâs gaming comp.

Not exactly what was advertised
The desktop case had NUMEROUS scratches and scuffs although rated “excellent condition with no signs of cosmetic damage visible from 12 inches away”. Hard drive was 480 GB , not 512 GB. While waiting for reply from refurbishing company, computer turned itself off. When powered back on, screen was very blurry, could not tell if it had booted all the way. Turned it off and then back on. It booted to windows, but had lost the settings for desktop which I had put in already. Returning this one and looking at other options.

Dell 3620 PC came well packaged, good and working condition, running 3 days straight and experienced no issues so far. I had to change the cpu cooler because the one included did not do a good job with my cpu intensive tasks. I didnt bother testing the SSD that came with the Dell PC, used my own M.2 drive and installed Windows 11. Ram included was a 2×8 2400 Mhz. Highly recommended.
