Fantastic product at it’s price point
DSTELIN’s Metal Plates have been a simple and effective solution for my projects. I purchased this item specifically for my phone so I could mount it in my vehicle, but I quickly found uses for them at my desk at home. Currently they are being used to hang some small wall decor pieces and I have recently mounted my audio interface to the side of my desk, allowing flexibility and ease of placement. These magnets did surprise me with their strength being as small as they are and with the 3M 9448A Double Coated Tape being extremely adhesive.For a pack of 12, at two different sizes and a price point of $4.99 (at time of purchase), they have become a must have item to keep around as they’re function has been employable for decor, organization and functionality of my vehicle, office space and small home projects. I highly recommend these being a staple in any supply cache for those who seek minimalist or simple function results in your projects.

As expected
Item is exactly as described. 6 rectangle flat metal plates and 6 round flat metal plates all with adhesive on one side. It holds strong to all my magnetic mounts. I have this on the back of my iPad and it holds very sturdy to the small magnetic mount I have for it. If placed inside a protective case to hide the metal plate it doesn’t have a strong magnetic hold. Even with a thin layer between the metal plate and the magnet it’s sturdiness is decreased drastically. My phone still holds to the magnet with the plate inside my case but falls off easily if moved or bumped. It’s only works best if the metal plate is able to directly touch the magnet so if you have a nice case you don’t want to ruin covered by this then I wouldn’t recommend buying this. The adhesive is very sticky and strong. Not easy to remove once adhered to item so be sure it’s exactly where you want it. Not meant for sticking and unsticking for reuse on different items and not meant for readjusting. Although possible to remove and reuse again it will without a doubt lose stickiness quickly and removing after stuck risks damaging the item you stuck it to or ruining the adhesive on the metal.
