Great for my home office with many new features
As owner of both EcoFlow River 2 and River 2 Pro, the Delta 3 plus is definitely a great step up. I used it mainly as a UPS device for my home office. The first thing I noticed is how quiet it is compared to River line products. I won’t even notice it is running while sitting right besides it. The solar input also greatly improved, with up to 1000W combined vs. only 220W for River 2 Pro, which means one can quickly charge it with more panels. With that said, it could be tricky to find the right panel supplying that much power but within the VOC spec (below 60V per solar input ). I think the best bet is using 2 arrays of two 300W panels. AC charge is also very fast at 1500W, although the last few percent will lower to 500W or so. There are many new app features allowing one to control the behavior of the device, which is quite useful and nice to have. I have not tried connecting to extra battery yet, but its capability of connecting various battery lines makes it quite flexible.The only down side is the high idle consumption, which is typical for this type of devices. Based on my estimation, it uses about 15W energy without AC and 45W with AC turned on, to keep it running. That is higher than River 2 pro, although its AC output is also much higher. I use energy from my house solar panels to charge it, so I don’t worry about the idle consumption too much.Overall, I think it is a great upgrade from the smaller River line devices. It serves as a great power source for small house appliances or home office when grid is down. It is also perfect for home office set up. with the UPS feature. Highly recommended.

The perfect power station?
The D3+ I think it’s finally the perfect balance between portability and functionality. I have quite a few power stations from a few different companies but this is definitely my latest and favorite.1kWh of storage. 1kW of solar. Expandable to 5kWh. 15A AC output. 4k cycles to 80% DoD LiFePO4. True UPS. Silent and under 30lbs. This is my new perfect camping buddy. Boondocking at the beach in the RV but it’s like having shore power. Everything but the air conditioner runs just fine off of this and with two huge solar inputs, I can recharge it from dead in a little over 1 hour from the sun. It even does simultaneous input so if the sun starts setting and I didn’t charge it enough I can kick the gas generator on for a bit while both AC and DC flow to top it off before sunset and quiet hours. Lots of new app features and with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth I have no issues being able to use all the smart features. With the exception of adding a high amp DC output I don’t know how this could possibly be improved upon. Cosmetically it looks great too.

Amazing upgrade to the delta 2 at a very compelling price
The EcoFlow Delta 3 Plus is a compact and expandable 1,024Wh portable power station. It delivers 1,800W output and recharges in under an hour. It has six AC outlets, USB-C, USB-A, and dual solar inputs, itâs perfect for home backup or outdoor use. Itâs whisper quiet and looks stunning in its new design. Mine is a dedicated UPS for my computer and networking gear and has its own solar array, powering my office while being completely off grid.

Terrible logistics, communications and delivery system
This is the second time this has happened to me (and finally the last)…you pay a substantial amount of money for EcoFlow products but have to wait typically months to receive the product. Look at the other negative comments about EcoFlow before you buy. Their delivery system will give you a future delivery date for a month or two ahead….but then change it at the last minute without any notice. They also use the FedEx B team for delivery.The first incident with them (because you are not dealing directly with Amazon) took over a month to resolve and it was not resolved ultimately by EcoFlow…senior Amazon staff stepped in and said enough and sent my money back.This time it’s the non-delivery of the item, again on a day weeks away from when it was supposed to be delivered. I go to my Amazon account in the evening and it says the Delta 3 Plus has been delivered….when it hasn’t been delivered… all that was delivered was the giveaway bag for the unit.And I’m not the only one… look at the other negative comments saying the exact same thing…no power station but they got a bag…or that they got a $700 bag instead of the power station…so it’s not just me.And that’s where the problem starts…you have to contact EcoFlow directly…no help (in the interim) from Amazon.So it’s deja-vu all over again…another week or more of headaches from a company that doesn’t believe in customer service.

So far it is working as described, I have just set it up with two solar panels, so I will test it iver the next couple months or so to see how it holds up…Charge speed seems to be quick as described
