Can hold a large heavy tablet in a case without any issues
Really love the design of this holder in how it expands into your cup holder. It is very easy to install by turning the ring at its base and after you have dialed in the tightness in the cup holder it is rock steady. Once that is done you just adjust the multiple arms to move the tablet to the perfect position and tighten. The main arm is quite long so it able to hold a tablet high enough so that kids in car seats can easily get a good view. The spring arms are also strong and even after going some large pothole my tablet has not fallen or even shifted. This made big difference on our long car rides.

Perfect for monitor in work truck
I work out of an SUV, and got this to hold a lightweight spare monitor (for all the million windows that need to be open to do my job, that the tiny laptop screen alone makes difficult to find) This holds the monitor perfectly (landscape mode) I’ve noticed after 2 weeks that it doesn’t hold the tipped up angle very long, but is not something I consider a significant negative–i don’t twist the screw adjuster too far to try to get it to hold, as I don’t want to strip it or crack it so it won’t hold at all) The screen will definitely wiggle a bit when driving, but also not a concern since the monitor is off/not in use til I stop. It gives the perfect placement just to the right of my laptop when i am working–i don’t have to turn to the far right to try to look at the monitor on the passenger seat. I think this was well worth the $$$ i spent! (Tip: make sure to measure your device to make sure it fits!)

Great for stationary
It moved around a lot with a tablet for navigation but it wasnât terrible. It seems fairly well built and anchors well. Iâll definitely end up using it for watching video while waiting ext. It is maybe just slightly too long for a heavy load while traveling down the road . If that movement doesnât bother you then perfect. ð

Long car ride must have!
I use this in my van to connect to the screen in the back, allowing me to play videos and movies for the kids so much easier than the built in system or blu-ray, which is a huge hassle because I can’t see the screen to navigate menus, etc and only one of my kids can kind of read to give me an idea of what to press while driving. Not at all safe. Being able to click my tablet into this mount and connect to my screen via HDMI is so much safer and convenient!Super sturdy, never has my tablet come anywhere close to being shaken free and was very easy to install and uninstall when necessary.A bit bulky, and sometimes I accidentally smack it while trying to get my drink or something, but even then the tablet still is anchored and doesn’t budge!
