Very Satisfied With The Version I Purchased…
Upon reading lots of reviews, I came to the conclusion, it depends on which one of these power adapters you purchase as to how satisfied you will be. The one I purchased is an almost exact replacement for the original power adapter that came with my Netgear Router. I’m one of those that ascribes to the theory that, just because the power supply went out, do not throw away a $ 80.00 router that is functioning perfectly. So, if you are looking for a power adapter for a Netgear WebSafe RP416 v4 router? This one most definitely works. (Since this router is no longer available, those that know will understand the implied benefits of keeping it working.) My previous power adapter was function perfectly and didn’t fail as much as was rendered useless by Grandkids playful antics accomplished failure. I’m sure there are those that have had to deal with similar situations. Extremely happy to have found this one (and will most definitely order again…soon…just in case of future GK intervention!).

The power adapter was well packed and works straight away as plugged into power outlet. Used for various hobby projects and no problems with the power output. Using one for a car stereo hobby.I have purchased 5 already only had one issue with one which was a problem with my receptacle that malfunction.Customer service was excellent and replaced the power supply without issue.

Performs as expected
I have a couple of pumps that required 3A power and I only had 1A on hand, so the pump would energize but not move water. I picked this supply up to see if it would make a difference. Pump works as expected with this supply connected so I am quite pleased. So long as it stays reliable, it’s a perfect solution to my problem. Recommended.

DO NOT BUY! FIRE HAZARD! TERRIBLE QUALITY.
I bought it for my monitor on May 2nd and today is June 27, as shown in the pictures, the item burned itself. The monitor is fine but the adapter doesn’t work anymore. It lasted TWO MONTHS.Yesterday I used the monitor with the adapter and this morning it doesn’t work anymore, I never leave it plugged in overnight so I think it melted itself when using it. BE CAREFUL because it might burn, or worse, when you’re not looking.The quality of the box itself is really bad and cheap, it’s very light. The cable is ok at best.And for those wondering, I researched and even the monitor is or was in the description of this product for compatibility so I shouldn’t have issues with drawing more power than this adapter can give or anything like that. This was used inside an apartment with AC at a decent temperature so it is the adapters fault.Again, do not buy this one, I doubt there are any good ones at this price range which is ridiculous for just a power adapter.

1500 hours lifetime
Bought this a bit less than 5 months ago. Hooked up to a timer that ran in 10 hours per day. It died today. Overall it provided about 1500 hours of lifetime. Take it or leave it, maybe that works for your use case, maybe not.

5v 2A is a very common type of ‘Walwort’ adapter. Locally the same thing is nearly 2x the price. They may last a year or two in my 24/7 application and for the price that’s OK.
