Don’t waste your money.
Worked with mint mobile. Battery life half a day with minimal use. Pour sound quality and reception very bad even next to a tower. Not like the flip phones of yesterday.Save your money for a tin can with string.

I own an absurd number of cellphones, this is the best 4G cellphone I’ve found
Smartphones are bloated, slow, contain terrible software, and are horrible for making calls. A cellphone should do what a cellphone does best, call and text. Leave everything else for the real computer to solve. As a computer programmer that loves technology more than anything else, there is no sense in being hyper-connected 24/7.I’ve purchased just about every non-smartphone I could find. To be frank, the real winner is the Japanese Kyocera Gratina 4G. I’ve never been so impressed by the engineering of a cellphone. Truly a testament to the discipline of the Japanese. However, I get no signal in my area due to its frequency bands not aligning with the cell carriers I use. But this Maxwest Neo Flip is on par in terms of usability, functionality, and quality. The Maxwest Neo Flip is fast. Actually fast, not unbearably slow like smartphones which people are deluded to believe are fast. No, this cellphone is actually responsive, the operating system is solid, it does everything it needs to do, and it is the only cellphone I’ve purchased that I haven’t immediately found any software bugs. To date, 0 bugs have been found. If you’re looking for a solid “dumbphone”, this is it. I’ve tried many and thanks to modern programmers no longer writing for the machine itself, they all suck, except for this one (and the Kyocera Gratina 4G).

Didn’t work for me
nice looking phone but just couldn’t get it to connect. Received texts but couldn’t make it work for calls. Spoke to Mint Mobile tech guy, he ran the IMEI and he said the IMEI indicated it was “locked” Had to return it. It may be still connected to T mobile, I don’t know.

basic talk and text cell phone works great
My old flip phone (Alcatel) began restarting continually rendering it useless. With my cheapy Tello plan for basic talk and text, no Internet, I just needed another flip phone that worked. I decided on this phone because it was cheap and ignored the poor reviews. Got the phone within 3 days of ordering, took the SIM card out of the Alcatel, inserted in this new cell phone, did a few set up selections via the menu and presto, cell works great with Tello without any further ado. Sound is great, reception is great, I can talk and text, problems solved hopefully for another decade of use, pretty amazing for paying the “used” price (packaging was brand new) of only $35.

Real Piece of Junk
Do not buy this phone, it’s not worth two cents. Radio randomly plays, drops calls, and is not user friendly at all. Got this for my senior mom and she hates it. I would hate for anyone to have to dial an emergency line on a phone like this because it is not dependable at all.

Poor battery life
The battery died while I still trying to set it up. The voice mail was impossible to set up even with the help from my new carrier. The case was slippery. The phone did not work out well for me BUT, the customer service I received from the seller was 5 star.

dependable and long battery life
bought this for my grandma and the interface is straightforward and comes with 3 languages: english spanish and french. The speaker is also quite loud for what it is, the ringer sound effects are just okay. the best part is the battery life, depending on your usage it could last up to 2 days with full battery

Good looking phone lots of endurance to dropping.
My husband isn’t one for technology and he drops the phone a lot. The phone is sleek with larger numbers for him. I think it was a good value for the price and what it has go through.
