Strongest car mount Iâve found
In the seemingly endless search for a strong car mount, I may have found the best. I cannot stand a car mount thatâs flimsy or mediocre magnetic capability; this is neither. Installation was very easy, I used the sticky pad rather than the vent adapter – but the vent one seems to be sturdy, if thatâs your preference or what your car allows.I really donât know why some of the reviews complained about the magnet being TOO strong⦠I feel like you donât want your Phone to fall off the mount while youâre driving or if you go over a bump. The only thing I could think is that if you are constantly taking your phone on and off the mount, it may be a tad annoying. When I drive, I put it on the mount and donât take it off until I am at my destination⦠Thatâs what Apple CarPlay is for.Also, you cannot beat the price – this mount should be at least double the price if not more. It seems high quality.PSA: clean the surface with the wet and dry towelettes provided, This makes for a much more firm adhesion.Make sure you either have a MagSafe case or a thinner case for the magnet provided⦠This may not work well with really thick cases (i.e. Otterbox)

Well, for $10, itâs too expensive to be a good deal. Way too clunky and plasticky. Itâll most likely melt in 120 degree temp inside a car. Not interested and Iâm sending it back. Plus the fact that itâs actually held on by a piece of clear plastic, just seems silly for a magnet mount.
