Great for mechanics!
This is advertised for the gym but I bought it for when I am doing mechanic work. It works great. The clamp securely holds my phone and I can attach the magnet base to any magnetic metal surface while I am working. The base also has a swivel so that you can angle it if necessary . Happy to have this magnetic phone holder in my tool box!

One Half Is Great
Tried this tonight at the gym – the magnet part and swivel action work great! The magnets are strong and you can tilt as you wish and have it stay put.My complaint is that the phone holder itself doesn’t inspire confidence. It doesn’t clamp securely and also is very shallow. I have a minimalist case and it doesn’t work well with that. I removed the case (not something I want to do) and it still didn’t feel secure.Yes, it holds it – but rather loosely. I don’t want my phone to fall when I rack the bench and it shocks the mount. So, I plan to use the base and find a different holder.

I actually keep this in my car now instead of a selfie stick or tripod. The magnets are powerful and hold my phone securely when needed. The foot that attaches to metal has a nice rubber coating and hasnât scratched anything Iâve put it on so far. Very nice product
