Q: Can these be used to watch Apple TV or a streaming device?
A: Yes. However, remember to set the audio output format of your TV to PCM, if you select optical Toslink as the connection method from the TV to the transmitter.
Q: Do I need to purchase cables separately to connect the transmitter to the TV?
A: Enclosed in the packaging you will find all cables you need in most circumstances. However, if your TV does not provide a USB port to power the transmitter, you will need a 5V USB power adapter that provides 0.5A or more. Or purchase the HomeSpot 5V1A UL certified power adapter to ensure noise free audio.
Q: Can other people in the room hear the TV when this bundle is being used?
If you want other people to hear the TV when this bundle is being used, connect it to the Toslink or RCA audio port of your TV. Most TVs will output on its own speakers normally even when the transmitter is plugged into the Toslink or RCA audio port.
Q: How do I set the left-right audio channel balance?
A: Switch on the transmitter and connect it with the headphones first. Press and hold the volume dial on the transmitter for 5 seconds, till you see the red and green LED flashes. Now you can turn the volume dial to adjust the channel balance. You will hear a ding-ding-ding sound on the headphones that indicates the actual effect. Then press the volume dial again to confirm the setting.
Q: Can I use other headphones with this system?
A: Yes, you can pair your any Bluetooth headphones with the transmitter. So, you can use either your own headphones or the JY100 neckband headphones, although not at the same time. However, we recommend those supporting low latency or game mode, in order to have lipsync audio.
Q. Can I use the neckband headphones with my smartphone or iPad?
A: Yes, you can pair the JY100 neckband headphones with your smartphone or iPad. But the neckband headphones can only connect to either the HomeSpot HD Transmitter or your smartphone at a time.
Q: Can these be used with other things like a computer, radio or game console?
Yes. As long as those devices have audio output port in analog RCA, aux, headphones, 3.5mm or Toslink audio output port. For optical Toslink output, make sure the digital audio format of the device is set to PCM or stereo.

I ordered this because I have hearing issues and canât hear the tv clearly, even with the volume turned up.This model was economical and since the ear pieces are connected, I wonât lose them should I fall asleep. Customer Support responded quickly when I used the Seller contact form, when I thought I had an issue during set up. The issue was a non-issue and I was quickly up and running. The transmitter tells you when you are connected and sound quality is rather good, clear and the ear pads are comfortable, and I typically donât like this type of ear bud. I love how they provided multiple wire connectors, Iâll be able to use on different tvâs since I have two that have different connection options. Hopefully it stands up time, but for now, I am very pleased with my purchase!

Works Great.
Hooking it up was simple. The earbuds paired to the transmitter pretty much by itself as far as I could tell. I believe I just powered up both the transmitter and the earbuds and it started working. To me the sound is great too! We have a basement TV where I turn up the volume so I can hear the TV while I am riding our elyptical. Upstairs, the TV sound really is noisy so this will eliminate that problem. ð

No Good Transmitter
The little transmitter will only charge 1 time. It will NOT charge anymore after the first charge. This product is NO GOOD!!!! Don’t waste your time or money on this device! There are other products that you can buy that you should try rather than this one!!! Don’t buy it! I received it Tuesday, December or3rd., and it died Friday, December 6th. I had the RCA over the head ear phones and. They always messed up my hair. I love these new ones as they are comfortable, easy to adjust volume and easy to charge. Once they are set up, thereâs no readjustments necessary unless you want to adjust the volume. Iâm very satisfied with the product.

Difficult to get bluetooth pairing to work each time you start
This unit is difficult to get started each time you want to use it. Pairing takes a long time. The sound quality is just OK. I’d rather use a headphone larger ear covering type. I returned this product to get something else.

My use is casual gaming on a second screen. Does well enough for that. Sound delay is pretty good for causal gaming, if I reallllly concentrate i can maybe detect a little lag… but it’s what I expected.While charge the transmitter there is static in sound while charging transmitter because of the provided USB charging cable.Troubleshooting Instructions say ‘get rid of static by using a high quality USB charging cable’ – well it’s the cable you sent me.3 Stars for the price vs quality of product you’re getting.

i have tinnitus, to hear the tv i needed to have it on high and on a sound bar to hear much. now with these i can hear my shows clearly. i bought a second pair for my second tv. w blue tooth most tv’s dont have capability. easy fix. JB HiFi has a blue tooth box for 109.00. best money ive spent for such comfort.
