Great value lightweight laptop for lightweight processing
We ordered this to replace my wife’s old iPad which could no longer be upgraded. Since we’re done with Apple computers we looked for a very light, good value Windows PC. That’s exactly what this is. It won’t be used for intensive computing or graphics operations, just straightforward email, browsing, etc. And it’s perfectly fine for that!! It was very easy to set up, the keyboard feels great, and it has a mouse-pad for navigation which we’ve used before and are comfortable with.One note: It comes with Windows 11 Home in S mode, “which provides a Fast, Safe, and Secure, Chromebook-like experience”. In English that means you can only install software from the Microsoft app store, NOT the Google Play Store. However, you can easily switch to Windows 11 Home mode from S mode to install from other app stores (but you can’t switch from Home back to S mode). Just ask Google for the simple instructions.

Do not buy this computer
At first, this was a great computer and I had no issues. It stopped charging after about 4 months. I contacted Amazon, only to realize I bought it from a different seller (my bad for not paying attention to that). Amazon directed me to contact HP and the seller. HP couldn’t help me because this computer has been modified by the seller. It is not built to have so much gb of RAM. According to HP, this was most likely the cause of it not working. I tried numerous avenues to contact the seller, including having an Amazon rep try. I heard nothing back. Amazon finally let me return it but charged a $50 restocking fee taken out of my refund-I feel that should have been imposed on the seller but I’m just glad to get something back.

But it’s definitely not top of the HP line. Not terribly powerful and a bit slow, but it works well for what it costs. Excellent weight, light and compact. Memory is suitable for most users.

I got the laptop on the expected delivery date. The box and everything was intact. Everything works fine for now. I will like to use it for some time to give a review on how it is working. I don’t really like white but I guess I will get used to it. Thank to the seller.
