I am not a computer connoisseur or oficionado but the computer has great graphics, looks sleek and has great functionality. My only issue is there is not a keyboard backlight.

Not enough ports and those 2 are too close together. Need 3 or 4.Home use – I have offices in two organizations with lots of paperwork to create. A touch screen was one of my requirements. I love this 15.6″ laptop. It replaced my garage sale laptop that was down to one hinge. I already own a 10″ travel laptop with touch screen that I also love.

Scam Alert!!!
The laptop I purchased was “like new” condition. Unfortunately, like new means knowingly defective. After about a month, the 30 day Guarantee, laptop started to shut off and the battery did not stay charged for long. Now the laptop has completely died, with the exception of the charge light. Do not buy from this vendor, as they quoted “you can pay for a repair.” I will stick with Best Buy. Don’t purchase used “like new,” from Amazon.

Bought this laptop refurbished and I have to say, it looked brand new when it arrived. Even the computer box it came in was like brand new. It’s been a little over a month now and I use it for quite a few hours just about every day. The only thing I question is the brightness of the screen. Sometimes it seems quite dark and I can’t get it any lighter even through other settings. I’m not used to the 2 hour or so battery life but that’s probably because it’s much more powerful than my little ASUS chromebook. The keyboard is a little awkward being placed more to the left but I got used to it. I love having the number keys on the side like my desktop key board. Overall, I’m quite happy with both the computer and the company who sold it as a refurbished. (Note: they had a rating in the high 90’s at the time I bought it).

Bought Like New, Had Issues
Bought in like new condition because the price was awesome and this HP laptop had great tech specs. Ended up returning the laptop because it repeatedly kept saying my BIOS was corrupted and needed to be updated and recovered. Started happening the second time I turned it on after taking it out to the box. The BIOS corruption message happened three times back to back, and after the fourth time I ended up doing a factory reset and I returned the item. Currently waiting on refund. Lesson learned, donât buy used/like new. Overall seems like an okay laptop if it were new- battery didnât last long even in sleep mode and speakers were terrible quality, but could have lived with it if there wasnât the BIOS corruption issues.
