Powerful and small and absolutly silent..
I purchased this for a SMALL portable recording studio.. Presonus 5 is running excellent,,USB C is a Plus. mine came with two DP’s in the back, Bonus.. the USB 3 in the front has charging power even when the unit is powered down. Startup is 15 seconds.. SSD is not the card type, its the HD type, Bonus… all the USB’s are upgraded to 3.0 or higher – the WiFi connected all on its own with no problems, I plugged in direct to download and install my studio programs and it wasn’t that much faster.. bought the $20 wireless keyboard and mouse at Walmart and it’s better, stock one is super cheap but will get you up and running. The windows 10 pro sticker looks legit. no problems except windows 10 basic install browser that sucks and wants to control you.. Still need to uninstall that – annoying start-up sign-in crap..I bought this unit and had to return the first one, it started up and worked fine but would shut down after 10 or 15 minutes .. I actually liked it so much I bought as second one before they even refunded my money on the first.. It only took about 2 weeks to get refunded… Thank you for being an honest company..

Great and affordable
It does everything I need it to, and much faster than any desktop or laptop I’ve had in the past. I was worried it wouldn’t have a very good graphics card, but I’m able to play all the games I could on my most recent laptop. My “only” complaint is that the WiFi is not internal and instead takes up one of the USB slots…

Functions, but not original parts or the correct specs
The unit I received functions, but it’s not what I paid for. CPU checks out, but the HP RAM has been replaced with ADATA brand RAM modules and the SSD is an ADATA SATA 480GB, not M.2 and not the 512GB size advertised. Keyboard, mouse, and wireless are also all via cheapest possible generic brands (Mixie and Comfast), not HP. So you’re getting an HP chassis with all off brand components and accessories.Just be aware that you’ll likely need to replace the accessories if you want a decent keyboard and mouse, and the wireless is junk that runs at the lower end of 802.11n speeds. So expect to spend an extra $50-$75 to upgrade those. And if you want M.2 storage speeds instead of SATA, you’ll need to upgrade that for another $60 or more as well.Update (1/23/2021): After using the unit for a week, I’m much more satisfied with it and increasing from 3 to 4 stars. The ADATA brand RAM and SSD perform well, and they appear to have been new parts, not used parts swapped in from other units. CrystalDisk Info shows only 5 power on cycles for the SSD. I’m still irritated that the SDD was undersized by 32GB, and accessories are still junk, but this unit is a good deal for the price even if you need to spend an extra $75 for a better keyboard and wireless adapter. Only other note I’d add is that you should run a disk cleaning and select to remove the Windows.old folder from the drive. It’s eating up over 25GB of disk space and serves no purpose.

Stay away from Gizmo Bing. Garbage products…untested.
Absolute garbage PC’s. This is the SECOND one that doesn’t work! #1 squeals when plugged in..#2 replacement I just got, won’t stay powered up. Stay away from this company. They may be polite but the QA dept sends out untested units. I asked rep (Loki) to make sure it’s tested before sending out…obviously not. He had me remove neg. feedback. You’re wasting my time!! I want a FULL REFUND!!

Computer works with new power supply
The first HP EliteDesk computer would not power on. I contacted Amazon Refurbish, who in turn contacted the vendor, Overstock Deal. Overstock Deal could not find any record of my order. Amazon told me to return the computer and they would send a replacement. The replacement would not power on either. I decided the problem might be with the power supply cord and brick. So I ordered a different one from Amazon. With that the computer powered on. It is now in production, and I am quite happy with it. It is small, runs quiet, and has lots of USB ports. Even with having to buy a new power supply, I feel the computer is a bargain.

Exactly what I needed!
Bought this to replace a bulky tower system in my 3D printing workshop. System size works perfectly for what I needed, Solid State Drive and 16Gb memory coupled with the i5-6500T give this system plenty of power and speed to grind through the tasks I need to perform on it in a timely mannerVery satisfied with this purchase!

Audio via DisplayPort didn’t work, slow wireless, not upgradable to Windows 11
Didn’t support audio over Display Port even after updating drivers via the HP support application and BIOS. The wireless was slow, and the SSD capacity less than advertised. Searching the web reports many DisplayPort audio issues for the Elitedesk 800 G2 Mini with no consistent solution.Considering 2024, the Intel i5-6500T from 2015 doesn’t support Windows 11 and Windows 10 end of support is October 2025 without further security updates. Consider at least a Ryzen 3400GE(2019) or Intel i5-8500T (2018) to future proof. However, if you’re rolling out cheap Linux workstations, have at it.If your purpose is gaming or graphics intensive work, consider an AMD Ryzen 5 over Intel i5 around this cost since integrated Intel graphics at the time stunk.

Great PC
Excellent PC. Very fast. Boots up quickly and loads programs faster than my previous PC’s. Much smaller than it appears in photos. Actually smaller than my ASUS VivoPC, but much more capable. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Arrived in less than 48 hours after the order was placed. Looks brand new. Absolutely no marks and scratches. Packaging was 10/10 and noting that was refurb like. The set up was breeze and straightforward. I am very happy with this compact machine with good enough power, specially for the price I paid for it, and it does not look anything like refurb. Will definitely order again from the same vendor, without a second thought.

Don’t like the old style HP bios.All-in-all, not a bad machine.Max ram is 16g, but plenty for my needs.

Computer hasn’t worked from day one. Requested a return shipping label, it never came. Stuck with a useless paper weight. Very disappointed!!

I like that the product is as advertised. Clean chassis, advertised CPU, RAM. SSD and Windows 10 Pro. Note that the Wifi adapter is absolute garbage (802.11n 2.4 GHz USB 2.0) and might only be usable if youâre in the same room as the router, a single wall and itâs dropping connections constantly. Get a cheap $20 USB 3.0 dual-band Wifi adapter from TP-Link or someone and youâll have a much better time (if Ethernet isnât possible). This is a Skylake CPU and TPM 1.2 system so note that it wonât run Windows 11.USB ports all seem to work fine except the front panel USB-C. I connected my Apple MagSafe charger to it and part of the port broke off when I unplugged the cable.Be sure to check BIOS settings and enable VT if you need to run VMs which is what I primarily got this for.

Just over 7 months and Windows can’t detect SSD drive often now :-(. Waste of money, no support / no warranty.
