Great package for the price.
Nice package for the price with 365. A few features would be nice like back lit keyboard and mouse buttons but a good basic model that proves all the home office and travel needs I have.

Purchased this laptop after previous laptop suffered a broken case. For my use this laptop works well. My uses are limited to email, short videos and simple research; no gaming. Next time I will likely purchase something a bit faster.

Extremely Slow – Look somewhere else
This computer, out of the box, was extremely slow and appears to have programs running that eat up the memory. When watching a simple youtube video the content skips continuously. Attempts to troubleshoot led me to update HP drivers which turned into a complete mess. First, I should not have to troubleshoot a brand new computer. Second, the HP site forces you to download the HP Assistant which cannot be done by this computer due to S Mode that Microsoft uses. Additionally, you are forced to use Microsoft Edge as your browser unless you go through multiple steps to disable S Mode and download and alternative like Chrome. I attempted to get support through HP but you need to use the virtual assistant and you become stuck in a constant loop of questions that lead you to no where. I am attempting to return this computer but the original box that it came in was thrown out by an overzealous wife.

This laptop is the best!
I didn’t realize it came with a 500 gb external drive which has made switching machines really easy. I still play videos and music CDs so I bought an Origbelie external CD drive. I think this add on is very reasonably priced and it also added a bunch more ports. This setup is perfect for me. I couldn’t be happier!

Small but does the job the big sizes do
It took me a minute to wrap my head around the new system but I’m in to it now. If I have one issue it’s the keys they are Very light so if they were darker that would be helpful.
