Worked well for dj needs
I’m a dj and wanted something small to build a very portable self contained unit for dj use, it easily ran my program and is fast, it’s light, has 5, 3.0 usb ports and 3 video outputs, it will run my karaoke program with no issues, will be purchasing another!

Disclaimer – this was just my experience. Yours may not be the same.I needed a cheap PC to run code on my CNC machine. I wanted something small so it can be tucked away in the relatively dirty environment of a wood shop. I looked at Intel NUCs, and while they’re great, I didn’t need to spend the extra cost for the capabilities/more current hardware.Well I bought this “renewed” because it was so affordable and I was fully prepared for gear that definitely showed its age. But much to my delight what I got was a brand-new-in-the-box computer. It had clearly been opened to inspect the contents, but it was equally clear it had never been opened. I am assuming what I got was a “corporate buy over-run” – basically new old stock from some now defunct IT department that had to deploy lots of small desktops.The size is perfect – it can mount to a monitor as small as 15″ no problem (assuming you have the mount – UNLIKE the Intel NUC which includes one, there’s none here). Performance so far is exactly what I expected. It’s not a powerhouse, but unless you’re trying to run Photoshop or some other “power user” application / suite it’s great. Windows 10 is….. Windows 10 :/ But I see no reason why you couldn’t get Linux on it via typical install paths….So I’m SUPER pleased with the purchase. These were 3 times the cost 18 months ago. Again – you may not be so lucky. But you never know 🙂

Sometimes it takes a long time to boot, but overall it’s a prettly solid little machine.

HP Prodesk 600 G2 Micro Computer Mini Tower PCThe computer had Windows installed, as shipped, but it was not used (don’t need the computer connecting to the Microsoft mothership to send who-knows-what information to the MS eye in the sky). Ran the onboard computer memory and hard disk checks – all passed. Linux Mint was installed after computer setup; however, version 20 was used due to issues experienced at install with the EFI secure boot features of the computer. After v20 was installed, Linux Mint booted and then the upgrade to version 21 was started. All smooth like a hot knife in butter.Graphics testing was completed using online utility sites and testing videos posted by vid experts (e.g. via yootube). The computer runs very quiet with just a slight fan hum. No issues with speeds (video streaming or network traffic).Though this hardware is several years old (from refurb/off-lease); hopefully, it will function for a long duration.

Although delivery was a bit late, I was very impressed with the package. A powerful system, packed into a sleek like new 7 by 7 by 1.5 Inch metal box. It runs smooth with absolutely no sound !Plenty of USB ports to plug-in my devices, I even plugged in wireless keyboard and mouse.I highly recommend this package for anyone that needs a reliable budget and well made enterprize machine.
