Guys, I must say that I LOVE THIS holder. By far, this is the best car phone holder I ever found after trying almost everything on the market.Place the phone in the cradle and squeeze the side arms to secure the phone. There are two enlarged buttons halfway between the bottom of the carrier and the side arms of the carrier. When you wish to disengage the phone, push one or both buttons and the arms will automatically expand to release the phone. I have used other inconvenient mounts where the release tab is only on the left-hand side of the mount which forces me to hold the phone with my right hand and use my left hand to reach behind the steering wheel to release the locking tab.Perhaps the clamps like “wings” is an overstatement, as this phone holder does follow a relatively considerate design. I was very surprised and delighted to discover the side pads that hold the phone are curved slightly inwards. In other phone holders, I’ve experienced issues where the pads wear out over time and the mechanism must work harder and harder to apply enough force to the phone to hold it in place. On this phone, the side pads curve ever so slightly inwards, so as to provide additional grip to the phone without requiring extra force. What a great design!It securely holds my phone and makes it easy to adjust the phone’s orientation. My phone (average size, LG G5) fits securely inside the bracket and I am not worried about it falling out at all. It also holds my husband’s massive iPhone 14 Pro Max. The two side brackets lock it in place, and the quick-release button frees it easily.You can rotate the phone 360 degrees inside the mount, and adjust its rotational angle towards you to better see the phone screen. The mount also has a gap at the bottom so I can insert a charging cable into my phone (a big plus).The extension feature and flexibility to reposition it is awesome! The suction and adhesiveness were strong to hold a heavy phone on the dashboard or windshield alone. I use suction on the windshield and position the extended arm over the dashboard to hold it safely without dropping from the windshield. The front brackets could be redesigned to make it deeper and adjustable as well, with the option to better grab and secure thick and heavy phones. It is the most sturdy and reliable car phone holder to have, especially when driving over bumpy roads.Particularly important in some states where you have to have “HANDS-FREE” operation of the phone unless you wish to possibly ticket for $75 to $400. If your looking for a non-bulky, durable, and very reliable phone holder gets this one! It’s very easy to install and the directions were very straightforward!

Holds iPhone when driving
Works pretty good. Good price. Easy to install and can clip in vents to car. Versatile as suction ability too, which I haven’t used. Just not a fan of having phone out so I typically just put phone face down on seat beside me, but this product is useful if I need maps as it snuggly holds phone.

I prefer to mount it on the windshield as it provides a clear and unobstructed view of my phone when using it for navigation. The holder can be adjusted to different angles to ensure optimal viewing. It has two large buttons on the side, which makes it easy to remove the phone. The holder’s ability to hold the phone is excellent, and even when the holder is flipped upside down, the phone does not fall out(as shown in the video). Another unique feature of this holder is its ability to be elongated to fit longer phones. This is a feature that is rarely found in other phone holders.

What I most like about this car phone mount/holder is the quick-release button. It conveniently releases the phone from the base very quickly when pressed. It Fits perfectly with my BMW f11 air vents without putting too much pressure. The holder has a nice finish and is very presentable.Bear in mind this is just a holder and not a charger. It will not charge your phone! Also, it comes with a very convenient cable holder for your charger cable.Overall, I’m happy with it; Thumbs up!
