Tight fit but flexible
Smart design overall. I built two identical AMD setups, one for me and one for my wife. I used a Noctua heatsink with two side fans, and itâs a super tight fitâless than 1/4 inch clearance, but it worked out great. Accessing anything inside requires removing the GPU, and plugging in the top fan felt like playing a game of Operation. The system stays cool while gaming with Noctua fans. The caseâs bottom connectors are a bit odd, and the limited front USB ports are a downside, but itâs still a great, challenging build.

Absolutely GREAT case, with GREAT value
Good:-No riser cable needed-Comes with a 700W gold rated power supply with three PCIE 8-pin power connectors-Very sturdy handle, headphone holders on the sides-Side panels come off very easily,-Plenty of space for installing a decent air cooler (if you don’t install a side fan)-Support for two 2.5 in drives AND one 3.5 inch drive-3 slot expansion card bracket with room to fit coolers that extend beyond that. HOWEVER, be mindful of your graphics cards height. For demonstration, I included a picture of my graphics card that’s in my main PC. Physically, it can fit, but would not be able to close the side panel because the power connectors going to the graphics card interfere.Bad:-The power button is part of an integrated circuit board that also has a drive activity LED built in. The LED light shows through the power button. I didn’t know this, nor is it stated anywhere. So I thought the power button was defective.-CPU power connector may not reach the port on your motherboard depending on the motherboard and what CPU cooler you have installed (I did not have this problem, but other have that I’ve read).-Not really a bad thing for me, but the I/O is all on the bottom of the case. I’ve had to get a few right angle adapters to take some strain off of cables.-The front USB-C port does NOT plug into the motherboard, but is an EXTENSION cable. Meaning you have to plug this into the motherboards I/O. I had to buy an adapter to use the motherboard port rather than the one on the I/O.-VERY hard to install the motherboard if you are using SATA storage devices, if you have a motherboard with SATA ports that are angled. I have the Asrock Phantom Gaming B550 ITX/AX. The ports must be plugged in PRIOR to installing the motherboard, otherwise you can fit them in the connector for lack of space from the Power supply container. MAJOR oversight from Hyte.Overall, VERY good Mini-ITX case with broad GPU compatibility, and and surprisingly good CPU air cooler compatibility. HIGHLY recommend!

Easy to build in, looks great, and portable!
Super easy ITX build. No PCIe riser cable needed. The hardest part is sort out AIO tube positioning, and that’s not even really that hard. Case it well built, and the handle and hanger pegs are awesome feature. Airflow is good too. I’ve done 5 builds in these now, and all were great experiences and have happy gamers using them.

So close to perfection….but isn’t.
With the absence of true desktop replacement laptops this cycle (IE, desktop CPUs, removable/upgrade enabled GPUs, etc…) I’ve decided to go the SFF route for my travel mobile workstation along with a 22″ 144mhz display with wireless KB/M.On paper, the Hyte checked all the boxes. Plenty of ventilation, supports up to a 280mm AIO, supports a triple slot full length GPU and more. My 6700xt looks downright small in the GPU chamber. The case with 700w PSU was on sale for $125USD basically making it the cost of a SFX PSU just by itself so cost wise it was perfect. This is a ~18.4L case so it isn’t super small but the extra space really gives you options for cooling and GPUs and makes it a little easier to work within. That solid construction comes at a price as it is night super light but still transportable. If you’re looking to use an AIO, make sure the tubes do not come out of the top of the CPU block but instead are side mounted and can move. I tried initially with an EVGA CLC 280mm and that was a no go. I ended up using an ID Cooling Frostflow x 280mm and that worked perfect. My final build out was:MSI Z790i Edge motherboardIntel i9-13900KS (This is a hand picked SP115 silicon specimen for cool running and no throttling)ID Cooling Frostflow x 280mmG.skill low profile DDR5 2x16GBSamsung 980 Pro 1TB NVME SSDPowercolor 6700xtCB23 results in max temp of 80c all core with no throttling with a score of ~41k-42k. Leaving the system running in the most taxing part of WoW (Valdrakken for CPU, Ardenweald for GPU) resulted in peak temps of ~58c on the CPU and ~75c on the GPU. Note, even testing the GPU in an open air case it still hit 72c so the case is providing excellent air flow once you remove the filters on every side. It runs extremely quiet while gaming. After prototyping, trying different build outs in it and swapping numerous components there are some pros and cons you should be aware of:Pros:Massive amounts of ventilation on every side.Triple slot GPU chamber can fit even some 4090 cardsBuilt in 700w PSU has two GPU leads and enough power for a large array of GPUsMany 240mm/280mm AIOs will fitVery well built w/ a nice carrying handle on top.Massive assortment of screws and parts to cover everything you could needCons:No under motherboard cable management availableThe 700w PSU will not be enough to handle power hungry GPUs (7900xtx, 4090, 3090ti, etc…)The PSU GPU leads are a tad bit too short and could be a problem for some cardsYou only get two GPU leads with one having a pig tail connector so for triple 8-pin cards, there may be issuesThe filters on every side of the case really hinder air flow but they are removableWhile it is a portable ITX case with a nice handle and solidly built, it is much larger than some of the other AIO capable cases (lunchbox mainly from Dan, FormD, etc..)The bottom access to the motherboard I/O is cumbersome and blocks some WiFi antennae18.4L means this is not a small caseInstructions were lacking even the online versionOverall, would I buy it again? Most likely at the price paid with the 700w PSU included it was a great deal.Solid 4/5

I was in the market for a small case but I was having problems with cases being too small. This one is a perfect happy-medium and it fits my office very well. I have had no trouble building in it and I enjoy the ease of access for everything.

Got this over other vertical build itx cases because it doesnât require a riser cable. Very happy with the finished build, love how the video card shows through the front panel
