Great for kids, battery life could be better
Works great for kids, speed is good and screen quality; durable but battery life could be better, but gives an excuse to take it away for a bit and charge.

Used Item
Item received was either used or a return with the screen all scratched up despite being sealed. Would not recommend

ðï¸ A Kid-Friendly Tablet with Robust Features, but Some Room for Improvement
â Why Trust This Review:As someone focused on finding educational and safe devices for children, I was intrigued by the JREN Kids Tablet. This review reflects my experience with its features, usability, and overall performance for young users.âï¸ Quick Summary:This Android-based kidsâ tablet offers a 10.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and comes with 64GB of memory, expandable via a micro SD card. It is Google-certified and includes robust parental controls, pre-installed educational apps, and a durable case with a built-in kickstand. While it has many great features, its lower screen resolution, pre-installed apps, and weaker speaker quality leave room for improvement.ð Design and Build:⢠Durable Case with Kickstand: The tablet includes a child-proof case designed to handle drops and bumps. The built-in kickstand is great for hands-free use, making it ideal for video watching or learning activities.⢠Port and Button Placement: Features a type-C charging port, 3.5mm headphone jack, micro SD card slot, power button, and volume control. The layout is intuitive and kid-friendly.⢠Lightweight and Portable: Weighing just 600g, itâs easy for kids to handle without strain.ð§ Practical Use:⢠Educational and Entertaining Apps: Pre-loaded apps and games focus on math, reading, and science, fostering a balance between fun and learning.⢠Parental Controls: The tablet offers extensive settings for content filtering and usage limits, ensuring a safe environment.⢠Screen Mirroring: Allows easy connection to TVs for larger viewing experiences, which can be helpful during group learning or family activities.⢠Battery Life: Lasts 10-12 hours on a full charge, with a four-hour charging timeâperfect for long sessions without interruptions.âï¸ Advantages:⢠Customizable Colors: Available in six color options to suit individual preferences.⢠Child-Focused Design: Easy navigation with a user-friendly interface tailored to kids.⢠Expandable Storage: The micro SD slot supports additional storage for apps and media.⢠Sturdy Build: The case adds peace of mind against drops, making it ideal for younger users.â ï¸ Considerations:⢠Screen Resolution: While adequate for kids, a higher resolution could enhance the viewing experience.⢠Lag During Multitasking: Demanding apps may cause occasional slowdowns.⢠Pre-Installed Apps: Some apps take up valuable storage space and may not be relevant.⢠Speaker Quality: Built-in speakers are underwhelming, making headphones a better option for audio clarity.⢠Storage Management: Despite 64GB of memory, external storage might be needed for additional content.ð In Conclusion:The JREN Kids Tablet is a well-rounded device for children, combining education, entertainment, and safety in a durable package. Its robust parental controls and pre-installed educational apps make it a strong contender for families. However, its screen resolution, occasional performance lag, and underpowered speakers may limit its appeal for more demanding uses. For a balance of affordability and functionality, itâs a solid choice.â FAQs:⢠Does it support external storage? Yes, via a micro SD card slot.⢠Is the tablet safe for children to use online? Yes, with extensive parental controls in place.⢠How durable is the case? The case is child-proof and designed to handle drops and rough handling.âð¼ Final Thoughts:The JREN Kids Tablet provides a great balance of features for kids, especially with its sturdy design, educational apps, and parental controls. While there are areas for improvement, itâs a practical and functional device for learning and entertainment. This review was written by U N O V I S I O N, where we focus on delivering honest and detailed reviews to help you make informed decisions. Tablet is not bad, increase specification.
This tablet is not too bad. It definitely has better resources being at 4 GB. It is also better optimized for long term use. It is definitely has an easier time running applications versus other devices with less ram. You still can run into some slow down here and there with some crashing. With any tablet, I tried to delete applications on this tablet to increase performance. The case is pretty protective being a thick case and I am unsure if you can even take the case off. The case will protect from most drops from the side and such. The only thing is if you drop it on the screen itself on an edged corner. This may actually cause a crack on the screen. The stand is better on this. It is still just a simple plastic piece but you can adjust the angle and such. The case is not too hard to hold even with the thicker case but it is still heavy. My nephew had no trouble holding this. The color is pretty generic blue color. There are no other designs on this. There is a loop to attach maybe a pencil or something. The tablet battery life is not terrible but it is not the strongest. After several uses the battery really last about four to five hour on full use. There are parental controls so you can control screen time and what applications can and cannot be installed. The brightness of the screen is not terrible. The screen resolution is the same as other models for a ten inch screen. I wish the resolution could better. There is a camera but honestly it is like using a camera from early 2000s. You are able to do video recording and picture taking but it has to be held pretty still when working with this. The sound quality on this is not terrible on this and I do not expect it to be high quality. The device has 64 gb of memory which is more than enough for applications that my nephew needs. The applications he has installed are not really that large. Overall I think this device is definitely a better upgrade than some devices. The device does run pretty well and has better specification. It is optimized for kids and could be good for long term use (meaning they grow with it). The device has less lag and there is really no way around that. You can increase performance by deleting applications. The screen sensitivity is good. The parental control is not bad and you can control how much time his kid spends on the tablet from his phone. It is easy to monitor. It does come with a power brick to charge and takes about a few hours to fully charge.

Caution for kids with autism
I bought this tablet for my son, he is autistic and well in 1 month he already damaged the power button, I did the mistake in purchasing a other one but this time I decided to buy the insurance and well it lasted him 3 months and had to file a calm for the same issue. So if your child is a little aggressive with the button then I wouldnât recommend this tablet. But besides that, the tablet has great battery life and itâs easy to navigate.

Absolute parental control to protect your child.
I’m so so so glad I got this Tablet! I’m a bit tech challenged but I was able to get it set up. I got a bit stuck at one point because I didn’t understand that I needed to create a Gmail family account. After I made a family account, I was able to finish the setup easily. I can determine what my child can have access to and how long. I can also remotely lock it down and change settings. The tablet is in a removable protective case that is a hard foam. They is a slot for an SD card and the slot is covered up be the case so a small child can’t easily find it. We’ve been using it for a couple of months with no problem.
